Gatha 123] Exposition of the special activities for the destruction of charitra-moha (delusion regarding conduct)
751. The karmic matter of two days is specially predominant. 193. In this manner, countless thousands of two-part divisions are passed. 194. Then the emanation of countless samaya-prabaddhas (indivisible time-units) occurs.
195. Then, in the countless thousands of two-part divisions that have been passed, the influx of the eight kasayas (passions) occurs. 196. Then the eight kasayas are transferred by the two-part division-wise. 197. When the last two-part division of the eight kasayas is passed, their sthiti-karma (duration-karma) remains as the residue in the avali (layer). 198. Then, by the two-part division-wise, the influx of the names of the nidra-nidra (sleep-sleep), pracala-pracala (restlessness-restlessness), and sthana-grddhi (torpor and greed), as well as the names of the gati (state of existence) of the nāraka (hell) and tiryañca (sub-human) occurs. 199. Then, in the last two-part division that has been passed, the residue of the sthiti-karma of these sixteen karmas remains.
200. Then, by the two-part division-wise, the anubhāga (fruition) of manaḥparyāya-jñānāvaraṇīya (obstruction to telepathic knowledge) and dānāntarāya (obstruction to charity) karmas becomes deśa-ghātī (partially destructive). 201. Then, by the two-part division-wise, the anubhāga of āvadhijñānāvaraṇīya (obstruction to clairvoyant knowledge), āvadhidarśanāvaraṇīya (obstruction to clairvoyant perception), and lābhāntarāya (obstruction to acquisition) karmas becomes deśa-ghātī. 202. Then, by the two-part division-wise, the anubhāga of śrutajñānāvaraṇīya (obstruction to scriptural knowledge), acakṣu-darśanāvaraṇīya (obstruction to non-visual perception), and bhogāntarāya (obstruction to enjoyment) karmas becomes deśa-ghātī. 203. Then, by the two-part division-wise, the anubhāga of cakṣu-darśanāvaraṇīya (obstruction to visual perception) karma becomes deśa-ghātī. 204. Then, by the two-part division-wise, the anuphāga of ābhinibodhikajñānāvaraṇīya (obstruction to omniscience) karma becomes deśa-ghātī.
