730. The mode of expulsion of the qualities (guṇa-śreṇī-nikṣepa) is similar to the expulsion of other karmas.
584. The distinction of the one who has attained the state of equanimity (upasāma-gata) from the one who is under the influence of greed (lobha).
585. That is as follows:
586. In the first moment of internal activity (antarakaraṇa), he makes the first establishment of greed (lobha). Just as the one who has attained the state of equanimity from anger (krodha), the first establishment of anger, the supreme establishment of pride (māna), the first establishment of deceit (māyā), and the first establishment of the gross form of greed (vādara-sāmparāyika-lobha), so much is the first establishment of greed.
587. There is no distinction for the one who has attained the state of subtlety in the final form of greed (sūkṣma-sāmparāyika-lobha).
588. There is also no distinction for the one who, while experiencing the final form of greed, is descending.
589. Now, we will explain the distinctions from the first moment of the vādara-sāmparāyika (gross final-karmic-state) onwards.
590. That is as follows:
591. The expulsion of the qualities (guṇa-śreṇī-nikṣepa) of the three types of greed (lobha) is similar to the expulsion of other karmas.
592. The one who experiences greed (lobha) expels the remaining passions (kaṣāya).
593. The expulsion of the qualities (guṇa-śreṇī-nikṣepa) of all karmas is similar to the expulsion of the qualities (guṇa-śreṇī-nikṣepa), and he deposits the rest.
594. These distinctions are experienced by the one who is eager to attain equanimity (upasāma) from anger (krodha).
595. These are the variations (vikalpa) of the one who has attained the state of equanimity from male-female (puruṣa-veda) passion.
