Kasaya Pahuda Supta [535. The one who has attained the first stage of equanimity (prathamasamayapravartaka) becomes the one who has attained the stage of non-negligence (apramattasamyata). 536. Then, the influx of other qualities in the first stage of equanimity of the one who has attained the stage of non-negligence is innumerable times more than the previous influx. 537. Up to the last stage of the new arising (apurvaka), the influx continues in the remaining stages. 538. The influx in the first stage of equanimity is only for an antarmuhurta (moment). 539. After that, it may increase, may decrease, or may remain stable. 540. The transmigration of qualities is interrupted in the first stage of equanimity. The transmigration of all karmas begins. However, for those who have the transmigration of the destructive (vidhvamsaka) karmas, only the transmigration of the destructive karmas occurs. 541. The one who is in the stage of equanimity, from the first stage of the new arising up to the last stage of the new arising, spends a period of time which is innumerable times more than that, in the state of equanimity-right faith.]
542. Within this period of equanimity-right faith, he may even attain the state of non-restraint, or the state of restraint-non-restraint, or both. 543. After the remaining six availikas (stages), he may even attain the state of sāsādana-samyaktva (quasi-right faith).
