## Kasaya Pahud Sutta [12]
**Samyama-asamyama-labdhi** (the attainment of restraint and unrestraint) **is bound by the ** **anubhaga** (fractional part) **which is devoid of the ** **artha-adhikāra** (right to the object).** **It binds with the ** **anubhaga** **which is infinite in number for the ** **subha karma** (auspicious actions) **and binds with the ** **anubhaga** **which is devoid of infinite number for the ** **asubha karma** (inauspicious actions).**
**8. We will speak of the intensity and mildness of ** **vishohi** (purification).**
**9. The ** **vishohi** **of the ** **adha-pravatt-karan** (downward-moving action) **is the least pure at the first time of its purification.**
**10. The ** **vishohi** **at the second time of its purification is infinite times greater.**
**11. The ** **vishohi** **at the third time of its purification is infinite times greater.**
**12. In this way, the ** **vishohi** **continues to increase infinitely until the end of the moment.**
**13. After that, the ** **vishohi** **of the first time of the ** **utkarsha** (upward-moving action) **is infinite times greater.**
**14. The remaining ** **vishohi** **related to the ** **adha-pravatt-karan** **should be explained in the same way as the ** **vishohi** **of the ** **adha-pravatt-karan** **related to the ** **darshan-moha-upashama** (subduing of the delusion of perception).**
**The ** **anubhaga-sattva** (the essence of the fractional part) **is two-fold.** **After that, it is purified by the infinite-fold ** **adha-pravatt-karan** **called ** **vishuddhi** (purification).** **There is neither ** **sthiti-kandaka-ghata** (destruction of the state-fractional part) **nor ** **anubhaga-kandaka-ghata** (destruction of the fractional part-fractional part).** **(There is no series of qualities.)** **It only binds the new ** **karma** (actions) **with the ** **sthiti-bandha** (state-binding) **which is less than the ** **palyopam** (a measure of time) **by the number of fractional parts, when the ** **sthiti-bandha** **is complete.** **It binds the ** **subha karma** **with the ** **anubhaga** **which is infinite in number and binds the ** **asubha karma** **with the ** **anubhaga** **which is devoid of infinite number.** ||3-7||
**Churnisu:** **The intensity and mildness of the purification of the living being who has attained ** **samyama-asamyama-labdhi** **is called ** **adha-pravatt-karan**. **The ** **vishohi** **is the least pure at the first time of its purification.** **The ** **vishohi** **at the second time of its purification is infinite times greater.** **The ** **vishohi** **at the third time of its purification is infinite times greater.** **In this way, the ** **vishohi** **continues to increase infinitely until the end of the moment.** **After that, the ** **vishohi** **of the first time of the ** **utkarsha** **is infinite times greater.** **The remaining ** **vishohi** **related to the ** **adha-pravatt-karan** **should be explained in the same way as the ** **vishohi** **of the ** **adha-pravatt-karan** **related to the ** **darshan-moha-upashama**. **||8-14||**
