183. In the fourth verse, there is a question.
One, two, or more parts, in one Kasaya, at one time.
Which path is suitable, or which path is unsuitable, in the case of a group of Kasayas?
184. This entire verse is a question. 185. In this question, there are two explanations. 186. According to one explanation, the Kasaya is the part. 187. Anger is the part of anger. 188. Similarly, pride, deceit, and greed are their respective parts. 189. Then, which path is suitable at one time, with one Kasaya, or with two Kasayas, or with three Kasayas, or with four Kasayas? This is also a question. 190. Then, the explanation. 191. It is like this. 192. In the hell and heaven paths, there is a difference, the remaining paths are governed by four Kasayas.
Churnisu 0 - Now, the meaning of the fourth verse is explained: "In one Kasaya-related part, and at one time, which path is suitable, or which path is unsuitable, i.e., opposite in order, is suitable?" This entire verse is a question. In the explanation of this verse, two teachings are found. One, according to the non-flowing teaching, the Kasaya is the part. Therefore, the anger Kasaya is the part of anger. Similarly, the pride Kasaya is the part of pride, the deceit Kasaya is the part of deceit, and the greed Kasaya is the part of greed. Therefore, which path is suitable at one time with one Kasaya, or which path is suitable at one time with two Kasayas, or with three Kasayas, or with four Kasayas? This is all a question. ||183-189||
Special Meaning - Which path is suitable at one time with one Kasaya, this is the first question, and which path is suitable with two, three, or four Kasayas, this is the second question. Which arises from the final stage, "Which path is suitable in the opposite order?"
Churnisu 0 - Now, after these two questions, their demonstration, i.e., decision, is made. It is like this: In the hell path and the heaven path, these above-mentioned options are present. But the remaining two paths are governed by all four Kasayas. ||190-192||
Special Meaning - In the hell and heaven paths, beings are found who are suitable with one Kasaya, or with two Kasayas, or with three Kasayas, or with all four Kasayas. The reason for this is that in the hell path, the majority of beings suitable with the anger Kasaya are found due to the abundance of time. Similarly, in the heaven path, the majority of beings suitable with the greed Kasaya are found due to the abundance of time. Therefore, in these two paths, the option suitable with one Kasaya is found.
