Gāthā 62] Determination of the Minimum and Maximum of the Five Stages (Pañcapada) with Respect to the Extent of Bondage (Bandha)
647. The minimum extent of the arising of anantānubandhin (infinite deluding karma) is very small. 648. Its transformation (saṃkrama) is of innumerable (asaṃkhyāta) degrees. 649. Its rise (udaya) is of innumerable degrees. 650. Its bondage (bandha) is of innumerable degrees. 651. Its meritorious activity (satkārma) is of innumerable degrees.
652. The minimum extent of the arising of krodhasaṃjvalana (anger flare-up) is very small. 653. Its rise (udaya) is of innumerable degrees. 654. Its bondage (bandha) is of innumerable degrees. 655. Its transformation (saṃkrama) is of innumerable degrees. 656. Its meritorious activity (satkārma) is of innumerable degrees.
657. Similarly, the minimum and maximum of mānasaṃjvalana (pride flare-up), māyāsaṃjvalana (deceit flare-up), and puruṣaveda (sexual passion) should be understood in terms of their extent and significance.
