## Kasaya Pahuḍa
**(3)** The ownership of the excellent *pradesa* (region) of the *napuṃsaka* (neuter) *veda* (knowledge) in the *Kasaya Pahuḍa* *cūrṇi* (powder) is explained as follows:
Page 186, Sutra 10: "What is the *pradesa* *sankamma* (action) of the *napuṃsaka* *veda*?" (111) "The *pradesa* *sankamma* of the *napuṃsaka* *veda* is the *guṇika* (merit) *maṃsi* (in the body) *īsa* (lord) *gado* (gone) *tassa* (his) *carimasamayadeva* (last time god)."
Now, compare the above *cūrṇi* *sūtra* (verse) with the *kammapayadī* *cūrṇi*:
"And that *guṇi* (merit) *yakammaṃsi* (in the action) *go* (gone) *savvāvāsagāṇi* (all attachments) *kauṃ* (what) *īsaṇe* (in the lord) *utpanno* (born). There, in brief, the *napuṃsaka* *veda* binds. There, there is a lot of *pradesa* *nicaya* (accumulation), and the *pradesa* *sankamma* of the *napuṃsaka* *veda* is present at the last time." (*Kammapayadī* *Sattā* page 57)
The *kammapayadī* *cūrṇi* explains the matter in detail, while the *Kasaya Pahuḍa* *cūrṇi* explains it in a concise way according to its style.
**(4)** The description of the ownership of the excellent *pradesa* of the *strī* (female) *veda* in the *Kasaya Pahuḍa* *cūrṇi* is as follows:
Page 186, Sutra 12: "What is the *pradesa* *sankamma* of the *itthiveḍa* (female knowledge)?" (113) "The *pradesa* *sankamma* of the *itthiveḍa* is the *guṇi* (merit) *dakammaṃsi* (in the action) *saṃkhejjavarasāue* (in the number of years) *gado* (gone), *tammi* (in that) *palidovama* (comparison) *saṃkhejjadhibhāgeṇa* (by the number of parts) *jamhi* (in which) *pūrido* (filled) *tassa* (his) *itthiveḍa* (female knowledge)."
Now, compare the above *cūrṇi* *sūtra* with the *kammapayadī* *cūrṇi*:
"The *napuṃsaka* *veda* is filled with *puṃcaparaga* (male attachment) in the *īsaṇe* (lord), and then it is *uvvaṭṭitta* (turned) *lahu* (light) *eva* (only) 'asankhavāsī su' (uncountable good) - born in the *bhoga* (enjoyment) *bhūmi* (land). There, 'filled with *palla* (half) *saṃkhiya* (number) *bhāgeṇa* (by the part) *itthiveya* (female knowledge)' - there, in brief, the *itthiveya* is filled with *palidovama* (comparison) *asaṃkhejjaka* (uncountable) *leṇa* (by the part). In that state, the *pradesa* *sankamma* of the *itthiveḍa* is present." (*Kammapayadī* *Sattā* page 58)
The quoted phrase in this excerpt is from the *gāthā* (verse) of the *kammapayadī* on which the above *cūrṇi* is written. By comparing the two, the reader will reach the conclusion that both *cūrṇi*s are similar in their composition, but each has its own unique style, yet there is a clear mark of one authorship.
**(5)** The ownership of the excellent *pradesa* *sankamma* of *saṃjvalaṇa* (burning) *krodha* (anger), *māṇa* (pride), *māyā* (illusion), and *lobha* (greed) in the *Kasaya Pahuḍa* *cūrṇi* is explained as follows:
Page 187, Sutra 16: "By that very *jādha* (knowledge) *purisaveḍa* (male knowledge) - *chhokasāyāṇaṃ* (of the young) *pradesaggā* (region) *krodhasaṃjvalaṇe* (burning anger) *pakkhittaṃ* (placed) *tādha* (that) *ko* (who) *saṃjvalaṇa* (burning) *tassa* (his) *pradesa* *sankamma*." (17) "This very *krodha* (anger) is *pakkhita* (placed) in *māṇa* (pride) *tādha* (that) *māṇa* (pride) *tassa* (his) *pradesa* *sankamma*." (18) "This very *māṇa* (pride) is *pakkhita* (placed) in *māyā* (illusion) *tādha* (that) *māyā* (illusion) *saṃjvalaṇa* (burning) *tassa* (his) *pradesa* *sankamma*." (19) "This very *māyā* (illusion) is *pakkhitta* (placed) in *lobhasaṃjvalaṇa* (burning greed) *tādha* (that) *lobhasaṃjvalaṇa* (burning greed) *tassa* (his) *pradesa* *sankamma*."
Now, compare the above *cūrṇi* *sūtra* with the *kammapayadī* *cūrṇi*.
