**Kasaya Pahud Sutta [6]**
**Vedak-Arthaadhikār**
* Which being enters which state and which being enters which anubhāga? And how much time should be known for their sāntara and nirantara? [60]
**Explanation:**
Although the first line of the verse mentions state-excitation and the second line mentions anubhāga-excitation, state-excitation is inseparable from nature-excitation and anubhāga-excitation is inseparable from region-excitation. Therefore, it should be understood that the first half of the verse speaks of all four excitations. The second half of the verse indicates the time-pattern and difference-pattern of the four excitations mentioned. And the second "vā" word read in the second half of the verse is to collect the unsaid. Therefore, from it, one should accept the remaining anuyogadwār like samutkīrtanā, etc., which were not mentioned by the verse-author.
* In what time, which being excites the most karma, i.e., the most, and which being excites the least karma, i.e., the least? And how long does this being, exciting every moment, continue to excite? [61]
**Explanation:**
The first line of the verse refers to the arm-like term related to nature, state, anubhāga, and region excitation, and the second line gives information about their lesser terms. The "vā" word read in the first half of the verse should be taken to include the existing and unspoken terms. Thus, the first half of the verse describes the pattern of the arm-like anuyogadwār related to nature, state, anubhāga, and region excitation. The second half of the verse gives information about the time-anuyogadwār related to the arm-like. And from this same indicative statement, one should also collect the remaining anuyogadwār. And by this, one should also understand that the term-deposit and increase are mentioned, because the special feature of the arm-like is called term-deposit and the special feature of the term-deposit is called increase.
* Which being, in the state, anubhāga, and region-peak, transitions to, shines upon, and excites, what is that substance more than (and less than)? [62]
