## Chapter 58: Explanation of the Breakage of the Limb-like Transition
**439**
**453.** The breakage of the *naanajeev* is also explained. **454.** This is an eight-limbed poem. **455.** The *pad* (limb) is in those who have fallen into it. **456.** All beings with *michchattva* are sometimes *alpatarasankramak* and sometimes *asankramak*. **457.** They are also sometimes *bhujagarasankramak*, *avadvidsankramak*, and *avattvvasankramak*. **458.** Thus, there are twenty-seven breakages. **459.** Those with *sammatva* are sometimes *alpatarasankramak* and sometimes *asankramak* by rule. **460.** The remaining *sankramak* are to be worshipped. **461.** Those with *sammimiच्छattva* are *alpatarasankramak* by rule. **462.** The remaining *sankramak* are to be worshipped. **463.** The *avattvvasankramak* and *asankramak* of the remaining karmas are to be worshipped. **464.** The remaining are the rules.
**Commentary:**
Now, the explanation of the breakage in relation to the *naanajeev* is stated. The meaning of the *pad* should be explained. The *karma-prakriti* that exists in the *jeev* is the *prakriti* (nature) or purpose. All beings with *michchattva* are sometimes *alpatarasankramak* in *michchattva* and sometimes *asankramak*. Sometimes, *michchattva* is found to be *alpatarasankramak* in many ways and *bhujagarasankramak* in one way. (1) Sometimes, *michchattva* is found to be *alpatarasankramak* in many ways and *avadvidsankramak* in one way. (2) Sometimes, *michchattva* is found to be *alpatarasankramak* in many ways and *avattvvasankramak* in one way. (3) In this way, many *sankramak* like *bhujagara* etc. are found along with many *alpatarasankramak*. Similarly, there are twenty-seven breakages in relation to *dvisanyog* etc. **453-458**
**Commentary:**
Sometimes, many beings with *samyaktva-prakriti* are *alpatarasankramak* and sometimes they are *asankramak* by rule. The remaining *sankramak* are to be worshipped. Those with *samyagmichchattva* are *alpatarasankramak* by rule. The remaining *sankramak* are to be worshipped. The *avattvvasankramak* and *asankramak* of the remaining karmas are to be worshipped. The remaining, i.e., *bhujagarasankramak*, *alpatarasankramak*, etc., are to be worshipped.
