Jain Terms Preserved:
1. The initial attainment of right faith (prathamsamyaktvottpatti) and the second moment (dvitiyasamaye), the avaktavya-karma is abandoned and the avastita-karma is crossed over. This is for the complete elimination of all subtle obstructions and the establishment of the right faith that has been regained.
2. In the initial attainment of right faith and the second moment, the avaktavya-karma is abandoned and crossed over, culminating in the upardha-pudgala-parivartan. This is the attainment of the second moment.
3. After the cessation of the twelve kashayas and the nine nokashayas, the avaktavya-karma is abandoned and crossed over. Then, again, one ascends the entire ladder of complete cessation and, while undergoing complete cessation, the attainment in the first moment is obtained.
4. For the anantanubandhi-kashayas, the visajyoyana-purvayoga is done, and then again, in less than an antarmuhurta, the sajjuttar is attained.
The reason is that the avastita-kamayanas, due to their permanence, are more subtle than the alpatara-avaktavyas.
