The introductory lecture has been given, and these verses are called 'Edam Savvam Vagarana Suttam' and are given the name 'Vyakarana Gatha Sutra'. All the Bhashya Gatha's, except for two or one Gatha's from the Charitra Mohkshapanna, should be known as Vyakarana Sutra. Similar topics are also found in the remaining chapters. The number of original verses is as follows: 17 to 20, 22 to 27, 29, 30, 32 to 37, 42 to 61, 68, 66, 72, 76 to 78 to 18, 60 to 63, 65 to 17, 66 to 101, 103, 105 to 108, 110 to 112, 114, 115, 117 to 128, 130 to 132, 134 to 137, 136, 140, 142 to 145, 147 to 150, 152, 153, 155 to 156, 162, 164, 170 to 175, 177 and 178.
The above division is of 180 original verses. The remaining 53 verses are classified as follows: Sambandha Gatha, Adha Parimaan Gatha and Sankrama Vritti Gatha.
The Sambandha Gatha's refer to the verses of the 15 chapters of the present text; therefore, they can be called 'Sutra' because they are in the form of a subject index or table of contents. The 12 verses of Shraddha Parimaan discuss the brevity of time, and the 35 verses of Sankrama Vritti discuss the transition, so they should be considered as Vyakarana Sutra.
6. Vyavastha Bhed Gatha Sutrakar has said that the four verses from 'Sankamay Pattava Yarasa Parinaamo Keriso Have' to 'Kindvidiyani Kammani' are under the Charitra Mohkshapanna chapter, regarding the life of the one who establishes (destroys) the Charitra Mohaniya Karma. However, the Churnikar has said them in the beginning of the Samyaktva chapter, at the time of describing the form of the life that begins the destruction of Darshan Moh, and has also composed the Churni Sutra on them. But there is no need to understand any contradiction in this, because the Gatha Sutrakar has said them in the form of an 'Antadip' in the Charitra Mohkshapanna chapter, but the Churnikar has presented them in the form of an 'Adi Dip' regarding the subject of Darshan Moh Upa Shamana Prarthapak. The presentation of those four verses is necessary for Darshan Moh Upa Shamana Prarthapak, Darshan Mohkshapanna Prarthapak, Samyama Asamyama Prarthapak, Samyama Prarthapak, Charitra Moh Upa Shamana Prarthapak, and Charitra Mohkshapanna Prarthapak. This is the reason why the Churnikar, taking the support of Darshan Moh Upa Shamana Prarthapak, has explained those four verses in the beginning, and has informed the Uccarana Acharayas and Vyakhyana Acharayas to explain those four verses in the beginning of the said four chapters through Samarpana Sutras. If the Churnikar had not done so, then the learner would not even know that the explanation of those verses is also necessary at those places earlier.
7. The depth and infinite meaning of the verses - The creation of a chapter by taking one word of a verse of Kasaya Pahad, and the inclusion of three verses in five chapters, itself proves the depth and infinite meaning of the Gatha Sutras. The verse 'Jo Jan Sanka Medi Ya' (Gatha No. 62) of the Vedak chapter, certainly testifies to its depth and infinite meaning, by informing about the four types of bondage, four types of transition, four types of rise, four types of stimulation, and four types of brevity related to the soul.
