Kasaya Pahuda Sutta
[5 Pradesa Vibhakti]
97. The duration of the maximum degree of the state of wrong belief (mithyatva) is one samaya (moment).
98. The duration of the minimum degree of the state of wrong belief (mithyatva) is one samaya (moment).
99. The duration of the non-maximum degree of the state of wrong belief (mithyatva) is infinite, innumerable paudgalika-parivartas (transformations of karmic matter).
100. The duration of the non-minimum degree of the state of wrong belief (mithyatva) is as many lokakala (time periods of the universe) as there are innumerable.
101. Or, the duration of the non-minimum degree of the state of wrong belief (mithyatva) is the same as the duration of the vasa-prthaktva (separation of abode).
102. Similarly, the duration of the other karmas should be known.
103. Except that the duration of the non-maximum degree of the state of right belief (samyaktva) and the state of mixed right and wrong belief (samyag-mithyatva) is at the most one antarmuhurta (less than 48 minutes).
104. The duration of their maximum degree is two and a half sagar-upama (ocean-comparable time periods).
105. The minimum duration should be known.
