## Chapter 160: The Sutra on the Kasaya (Passions)
**[4 Sections, 27. Ownership of the Section, 28. Who has the Excellent Karma of Mithyatva (False Belief)? 29. Bound by the Excellent Karma of Mithyatva, until it is destroyed, 30. He may be born as a one-sense, two-sense, three-sense, four-sense, non-conscious five-sense, or conscious five-sense being. 31. It is not found in humans, animals, or even the gods of the Anat-Pranat and other kalpas, who have an immeasurable lifespan. 32. Thus, the ownership of the sixteen Kasayas and nine Noksayas should be understood. 33. Who has the Excellent Karma of Samyaktva (Right Belief) and Samyag-Mithyatva (Right-False Belief)? 34. Except for those who have destroyed the Karma of Darshan-Moh (Delusion of Perception), all have the Excellent Karma of these two. 35. Who has the Inferior Karma of Mithyatva? 36. The subtle, one-sense Nigoda. 37. With the Karma of Hada-Samutpatti (Born from Destruction), he may be born as a one-sense, two-sense, three-sense, or four-sense being.]**
**[Commentary]**
Now, regarding the ownership of the section, the commentary explains: Who has the excellent karma of Mithyatva (false belief)? The conscious five-sense being, who is bound by the excellent karma of Mithyatva, due to the excellent affliction, and who has the wrong view, has this karma. Such a being, bound by the excellent karma of Mithyatva, until it is destroyed by the destruction of the Kandaka (the cause of the karma), will remain the owner of this excellent karma, even after death, whether it is reborn as a one-sense, two-sense, three-sense, four-sense, non-conscious five-sense, or conscious five-sense being. In other words, it will be reborn in any of these states, still possessing the excellent karma of Mithyatva. However, it will not be reborn in the realms of animals, humans, or even the gods of the Anat-Pranat and other kalpas, who have an immeasurable lifespan. This is because they do not possess the excellent karma of Mithyatva.
Similarly, one should understand the ownership of the sixteen Kasayas (passions) and nine Noksayas (afflictions). There is no difference in their ownership from that of Mithyatva.
Now, regarding the ownership of the excellent karma of Samyaktva (right belief) and Samyag-Mithyatva (right-false belief), the commentary explains: Except for those who have destroyed the Karma of Darshan-Moh (delusion of perception), all have the excellent karma of these two. This is because, except for those who have destroyed the Karma of Darshan-Moh, all other beings experience the destruction of the Kandaka of these two karmas.
Now, regarding the ownership of the inferior karma of Mithyatva, the commentary explains: The subtle, one-sense Nigoda has this karma.
**[Commentary]**
With the Karma of Hada-Samutpatti (born from destruction), this subtle, one-sense being may be reborn as a one-sense, two-sense, three-sense, or four-sense being.
