## Chapter 22: Explanation of the Division of the Nature of the Soul, the Division of the Karma, and the Anuyoga

The division of the nature of the soul, the division of the karma, and the Anuyoga have been considered. For example, regarding the division of the karma of Mohaniya (delusion), it is possible that all beings are undivided (Avivhatti) [1]. It is also possible that many beings are undivided and one being is divided (Vivhatti) [2]. It is also possible that many beings are undivided and many beings are divided [3]. Thus, three possibilities are found regarding the division of the karma of Mohaniya. Similarly, there are three possibilities regarding the division of the karma of Anutkrista (inferior). The only difference is that the word "Vivhatti" should be mentioned first when describing the possibilities. In the same way, there are three possibilities each regarding the division of the karma of Mohaniya, both in its Jghanya (gross) and Ajghanya (subtle) forms.
**(16) Bhaga-Bhaga Anugam:** This Anuyoga considers the division of beings with the karma of Utkrishta (superior), Anutkrista (inferior), Jghanya (gross), and Ajghanya (subtle). For example, what fraction of all beings have the karma of Mohaniya in its Utkrishta form? They are an infinite fraction. What fraction of all beings have the karma of Mohaniya in its Anutkrista form? They are an infinitely large fraction. What fraction of all beings have the karma of Mohaniya in its Jghanya form? They are an infinite fraction. What fraction of all beings have the karma of Mohaniya in its Ajghanya form? They are an infinitely large fraction.
**(17) Parimana Anugam:** This Anuyoga considers the quantity of beings with the karma of Utkrishta, Anutkrista, etc. For example, how many beings have the karma of Mohaniya in its Utkrishta form, in terms of the quantity of Dravya (substance)? They are countless. How many beings have the karma of Mohaniya in its Anutkrista form? They are countless.
