(12) Ownership - In this anuyogadvara, the ownership of the highest and lowest degree of the karmic impressions (anubhaga) is considered with respect to a single soul. For example, who is the owner of the highest degree of the karmic impression of the deluding karma (mohaniya karma)? It is any soul with wrong belief (mithyadrsti), who is endowed with the highest degree of afflicted state (samklesa-parinama), who is a living being of any gati (state of existence), be it a single-sensed, two-sensed, three-sensed, four-sensed, non-percipient five-sensed, or percipient five-sensed - a deva, infernal being, human, or animal - as long as he has not destroyed that (highest degree of the karmic impression). However, it should not be a human or animal with lifespan of innumerable years, or an upward-going celestial being who is reborn among humans after death. Who is the owner of the lowest degree of the karmic impression of the deluding karma? It is a human with remaining passions at the final moment.
(13) Time - In this anuyogadvara, the description of the permanent and impermanent nature of the highest and lowest degree of the impressions of all karmas is given in two ways - by the flow (ogha) and by specification (adesa). By the flow, the question is - Is the highest and lowest degree of the karmic impression of the deluding karma (mohaniya) permanent, impermanent, eternal, or non-eternal? (It is) permanent and non-eternal. As for the non-lowest degree of the karmic impression, is it permanent, impermanent, eternal, or non-eternal? (It is) permanent, impermanent, eternal, and non-eternal.
