(6) Sometimes there is one soul with the division of the intended nature, and sometimes there are many souls with the division of the intended nature. (7) Sometimes there are many souls with the division of the intended nature, and one soul without division. (8) Sometimes there are many souls with the division and without division of the intended nature. In this way, there are eight types of divisions, which should be known from the Jaydhavala commentary. Due to the fear of elaboration, it is not written here. (5) The Anuyogadvara that determines the number of souls who divide and do not divide the subsequent natures of the deluding karma is called Parimanaanugama. By inference, the number of souls who divide the remaining twenty-six natures, except the natures of right faith and wrong faith, is infinite, and the number of souls without division is also infinite. The number of souls who divide the natures of right faith and wrong faith is innumerable, but the number of souls without division of these two is infinite. Similarly, with respect to the order, the number of souls who divide and do not divide should be understood as infinite, innumerable, and countable as appropriate. (6) The Anuyogadvara that determines the present residential region of the souls who divide and do not divide the subsequent natures of the deluding karma is called Kshetraanugama. By inference, the region of the souls who divide the remaining twenty-six natures, except the natures of right faith and wrong faith, is the entire universe, but the region of the souls without division is the innumerable part, the innumerable many parts, and the entire universe. The region of the souls who divide the natures of right faith and wrong faith is the innumerable part of the universe. The region of the souls without division of these two natures is the entire universe. Similarly, the determination of the region of the souls who divide and do not divide should be understood. (7) The Anuyogadvara that determines the region of the three-time residence of the souls who divide and do not divide the subsequent natures of the deluding karma is called Sparshanugama. By inference, the region of touch of the souls who divide the remaining twenty-six natures is the entire universe. The region of touch of the souls without division of these twenty-six natures is the innumerable part, the innumerable many parts, and the entire universe. The region of touch of the souls who divide the natures of right faith and wrong faith is the innumerable part of the universe, somewhat less than eight parts out of the fourteen parts of the mobile world, or the entire universe. The region of touch of the souls without division of these two natures is the entire universe. Similarly, the determination of the region of touch should be understood with respect to the order. (8) The determination of time that was made earlier was with respect to one soul, now the same determination of time is made with respect to many souls. By inference, the time of the division of the twenty-eight natures of delusion is the entire time, that is, with respect to many souls, the twenty-eight natures are present.
