There was a clear vision of writing three texts. As the need for teaching Jain philosophy in Jain schools, colleges, and educational institutions grew daily in both the Svetambara and Digambara sects, so did the demand for Jain philosophical texts written in a new style acceptable to both sects in the vernacular language.
