- ३९ - इन्होंने जैन श्रत को तर्कबद्ध किया है और भिन्न-भिन्न विषयों पर अनेक प्रकरण लिखकर जैन तत्त्वज्ञान के सूक्ष्म अध्ययन का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया है।
(झ) गणी यशोविजय गणी यशोविजय वाचक यशोविजय से भिन्न है। इनका समय अज्ञात है । इनके विषय में अन्य ऐतिहासिक परिचय भी इस समय कुछ नहीं है। इनकी कृति के रूप मे केवल तत्त्वार्थसूत्र पर गुजराती टबा-टिप्पण प्राप्त है। इसके अतिरिक्त इनकी और कोई रचना है या नही, यह ज्ञात नहीं। टिप्पण की भाषा और शैली को देखते हुए ये सतरहवीं-अठारहवीं शताब्दी के प्रतीत होते हैं। इनकी दो विशेषताएँ उल्लेखनीय हैं :
(१) जैसे वाचक यशोविजय आदि श्वेताम्बर विद्वानों ने 'अष्टसहस्री' जैसे दिगम्बर-ग्रन्थों पर टीकाएँ लिखी हैं वैसे ही गणी यशोविजय ने भी तत्त्वार्थसूत्र के सर्वार्थसिद्धिमान्य दिगम्बर सूत्रपाठ पर मात्र सूत्रों का अर्थपूरक टिप्पण लिखा है और टिप्पण लिखते हुए उन्होंने जहाँजहाँ श्वेताम्बर-दिगम्बर मतभेद या मतविरोध आता है वहाँ सर्वत्र श्वेताम्बर परम्परा के अनुसार ही अर्थ किया है । सूत्रपाठ दिगम्बर होते हुए भी अर्थ श्वेताम्बरीय है ।
(२) अब तक तत्त्वार्थसूत्र पर गुजराती में टिप्पण लिखनेवालों में प्रस्तुत यशोविजय गणी ही प्रथम माने जाते हैं, क्योंकि तत्त्वार्थसूत्र पर गजराती में और किसी का कुछ लिखा हुआ अभी तक जानकारी में नही आया।
गणी यशोविजयजी के श्वेताम्बर होने की बात तो निश्चित है, क्योकि टिप्पण के अन्त में ऐसा उल्लेख है, और दूसरा सबल प्रमाण तो उनका बालावबोध-टिप्पण ही है। सूत्र का पाठभेद और दिगम्बरीय

(झ) Gani Yashovijaya is different from Vachak Yashovijaya. His time is unknown. There is currently no other historical information about him.
