6. 11-26] For the various bindings of the eight fundamental karmas: "Why do these powerful beings not come here to help us and alleviate the suffering of our relatives?" and so on.
Charitra Mohaniya karma bindings:
1. To perform actions (kaya) oneself, instigate kashayas in others, and, being under the influence of kashayas, engage in many trivial activities are all due to the bondage of Kashaya Mohaniya karma.
2. Mocking the truth and religion, ridiculing a poor or humble person, and other humorous actions are due to the bondage of Hasya Mohaniya karma.
3. Being engaged in various games, showing disinterest in vows and rules, and similar activities are due to the bondage of Rati Mohaniya karma.
4. Disturbing others, interrupting someone's peace, and associating with rogues are due to the bondage of Arati Mohaniya karma.
5. Being sorrowful oneself and provoking sorrowful behavior in others are due to the bondage of Shoka Mohaniya karma.
6. Being afraid oneself and scaring others are due to the bondage of Bhaya Mohaniya karma.
7. Disliking beneficial actions and honorable conduct are due to the bondage of Jugupsā Mohaniya karma.
8-10. Practicing qualities suitable for women, men, and the neuter gender are respectively due to the bindings of Stree, Purush, and Napumsaka vedas.
Naraka Ayu karma bindings:
1. Engaging in actions that cause suffering to living beings with kashaya.
2. The resolve that "this possession is mine, and I am its owner." The intense nature of the Arambha and Parigraha impulses, along with a constant tendency towards cruel actions like violence, robbing others' wealth, or excessive attachment to indulgences, causes the bondage of Naraka Ayu karma.
Tiryanch Ayu karma bindings:
Maya, or deceitful tricks, or having a cunning attitude. For example, mixing falsehoods with truths in the teachings of religion and promoting them with selfish intent while distancing life from principles. All of this leads to the bondage of Tiryanch Ayu karma.
Manushya Ayu karma bindings:
Engaging in lesser Arambha and Parigraha impulses, and having inherent, unspoken gentleness and simplicity are due to the bondage of Manushya Ayu karma.
