६. ११-२६ ] आठ मूल कर्म-प्रकृतियो के भिन्न-भिन्न बन्धहेतु १६१ वे शक्तिशाली होकर भी यहाँ आकर हम लोगो की मदद क्यो नही करते तथा सम्बन्धियों का दुख दूर क्यो नही करते' इत्यादि । १४ ।
चारित्रमोहनीर कर्म के बन्धहेतु-१. स्वयं कपाय करना, दूसरों मे भी कषाय जगाना तथा कषाय के वशवर्ती होकर अनेक तुच्छ प्रवृत्तियाँ करना ये सब कषायमोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है। २. सत्य-धर्म का उपहास करना, गरीब या दीन मनुष्य की हँसो उड़ाना आदि हास्य-वृत्तियाँ हास्य-मोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है । ३ विविध क्रीडाओ मे रत रहना, व्रत-नियम आदि योग्य अंकुश में अरुचि रखना आदि रतिमोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है । ४. दूसरों को व्याकुल करना, किसी की शाति मे विघ्न डालना, नोच लोगों की संगति करना आदि अरतिमोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है। ५ स्वयं शोकातुर रहना तथा दूसरों की शोक-बृत्ति को उत्तेजित करना आदि शाकमोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है। ६. स्वयं डरना और दूसरो को डराना भयमोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है । ७. हितकर क्रिया और हितकर आचरण से घृणा करना आदि जुगुप्सामोहनीय कर्म के बन्ध के कारण है । ८-१०. स्त्री-जाति के योग्य, पुरुष-जाति के योग्य तथा नपुसक-जाति के योग्य संस्कारो का अभ्यास करना क्रमशः स्त्री, पुरुष और नपु सक वेद के बन्ध के कारण है । १५ ।
नरक प्रायु कर्म के बन्धहेतु-१ आरम्भ-प्राणियो को दुख पहुँचे ऐसी कषायपूर्वक प्रवृत्ति । २ परिग्रह--यह वस्तु मेरी है और मैं इसका स्वामी हूँ ऐसा संकल्प । आरम्भ और परिग्रह-वृत्ति बहुत तीव्र होना तथा हिसा आदि क्रूर कामों मे सतत प्रवृत्ति होना, दूसरे के धन का अपहरण करना अथवा भोगो में अत्यन्त आसक्ति रहना नरकायु के बन्ध के कारण है । १६ ।
तिर्यञ्च-पायु कर्म के बन्धहेतु-माया अर्थात् छलप्रपञ्च करना अथवा कुटिल भाव रखना । जैसे धर्मतत्त्व के उपदेश मे धर्म के नाम से मिथ्या बातो को मिलाकर उनका स्वार्थ-बुद्धि से प्रचार करना तथा जीवन को शोल से दूर रखना आदि सब भाया है । यही तिथंच आयु के बन्ध का कारण है । १७ ।
मनुष्य-मायु कर्म के बन्धहेतु-आरम्भ-वृत्ति तथा परिग्रह-वृत्ति कम रखना, स्वभावत. अर्थात् बिना कहे जुने मृदुता और सरलता का होना मनुष्य आयु के बन्ध के कारण है । १८ ।
उक्त तीनों प्रायुकर्मो के सामान्य बन्धहेतु-नरक, तिर्यच और मनुष्य इन तीनों आयुओं के जो भिन्न-भिन्न बन्धहेतु कहे गए है उनके अतिरिक्त तीनो

2. The resolve that "this possession is mine, and I am its owner." The intense nature of the Arambha and Parigraha impulses, along with a constant tendency towards cruel actions like violence, robbing others' wealth, or excessive attachment to indulgences, causes the bondage of Naraka Ayu karma.

Tiryanch Ayu karma bindings:
Maya, or deceitful tricks, or having a cunning attitude. For example, mixing falsehoods with truths in the teachings of religion and promoting them with selfish intent while distancing life from principles. All of this leads to the bondage of Tiryanch Ayu karma.

Manushya Ayu karma bindings:
Engaging in lesser Arambha and Parigraha impulses, and having inherent, unspoken gentleness and simplicity are due to the bondage of Manushya Ayu karma.
