Tattvartha Sutra
[5.32-35]
Even if there is an infinite addition, it is considered bondage; an increase of just one part is not considered bondage. However, according to all Digambara interpretations, bondage is considered only when there is an increase of two parts, that is, three, four, and so on, with a countable, uncountable, or infinite addition not being considered bondage in the case of one part.
According to the commentary and treatise, in Sutra 35, the rules regarding bondage pertaining to two, three, and so forth, apply only to similar substances; however, in Digambara interpretations, those rules also apply to dissimilar atoms in the context of bondage.
