भवनपतियों की जघन्य स्थिति
भवनेषु च । ४५ ॥ भवनपतियों की भी जघन्य स्थिति दस हजार वर्ष ही है।
व्यन्तरों की स्थिति व्यन्तराणां च । ४६ ।
परा पल्योपमम् । ४७ ॥ व्यन्तर देवों की भी जघन्य स्थिति दस हजार वर्ष ही है। उत्कृष्ट स्थिति एक पल्योपम प्रमाण है । ४६-४७ ।
ज्योतिष्कों की स्थिति ज्योतिष्काणामधिकम् । ४८ । ग्रहाणामेकम् । ४९ । नक्षत्राणामर्धम् । ५०। तारकाणां चतुर्भागः । ५१। जघन्या त्वष्टभागः। ५२ ॥
चतुर्भागः शेषाणाम् । ५३ । ज्योतिष्क अर्थात् सूर्य व चन्द्र की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति कुछ अधिक एक पल्योपम प्रमाण है।
ग्रहों की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति एक पल्योपम है। नक्षत्रों की उत्कृष्ट स्थिति अर्ध पल्योपम है । तारों को उत्कृष्ट स्थिति पल्योपम का चतुर्थाश है । जघन्य स्थिति पल्योपम का अष्टमांश है।
शेष ज्योतिष्कों अर्थात् ग्रहों व नक्षत्रों की ( तारों को छोड़कर ) जघन्य स्थिति पल्योपम का चतुर्थांश है । ४८-५३ ।
