________________ ७० तत्त्वार्थसूत्र [२. ३७-४९ अनन्तगुणे परे । ४०। अप्रतिघाते । ४१ । अनादिसम्बन्धे च । ४२ । सर्वस्य । ४३। तदादीनि भाज्यानि युगपदेकस्याचतुर्व्यः । ४४ । निरुपभोगमन्त्यम् । ४५ । गर्भसम्मूर्छनजमाद्यम् । ४६ । वैक्रियमौपपातिकम् । ४७। लब्धिप्रत्ययं च । ४८। शुभं विशुद्धमव्याधाति चाहारकं चतुर्दशपूर्वधरस्यैव । ४९ । औदारिक, वैक्रिय, आहारक, तैजस और कार्मण ये पाँच प्रकार के शरीर हैं। इन पाँच प्रकारों में पर पर अर्थात् आगे-आगे का शरीर पूर्व-पूर्व से सूक्ष्म है। तैजस के पूर्ववर्ती तीन शरीरों में पूर्व-पूर्व की अपेक्षा उत्तर-उत्तर शरीर प्रदेशों ( स्कन्धों) से असंख्यातगुण होता है। परवर्ती दो अर्थात् तैजस और कार्मण शरीर प्रदेशों से अनन्तगुण होते हैं। तैजस और कार्मण दोनों शरीर प्रतिघात-रहित हैं । आत्मा के साथ अनादि सम्बन्धवाले हैं। सब संसारी जीवों के होते है । एक साथ एक जीव के तैजस और कार्मण से लेकर चार तक शरीर विकल्प से होते हैं। अन्तिम अर्थात् कार्मण शरीर उपभोग ( सुख दुःखादि के अनुभव ) से रहित है। १. इस सत्र के बाद 'तैजसमपि' सत्र दिगम्बर परम्परा मे है, श्वेताम्बर परम्परा मे नहीं है । सर्वार्थसिद्धि आदि मेउसका अर्थ इस प्रकार है-'तैजस शरीर भी लब्धिजन्य है अर्यात् जैसे वैक्रिय शरीर लब्धि से उत्पन्न किया जा मकता है वैसे ही लब्धि से तैजस शरीर भी बनाया जा सकता है । इस अर्थ से यह फलित नहीं होता कि तैजस शरीर लब्धिजन्य ही है। Jain Education International For Private & Personal Use Only www.jainelibrary.org
