Prakrit Verses in Rasarnavasudhakara'
Rasárnava sudhākara of Singa/Singa-Simha-bhūpāla (the latter part of the 14th Century A. D.) " is an excellent treatise on Sanskrit dramaturgy. It has lucid discussions couched in simple, beautiful and unambiguous language. — Simbabhūpāla follows the Bharatanā tyaśāstra, mostly the Dasarūpaka, and sometimes the works of Bhoja, Sāradātanaya, and others, ” 2 It cites twenty-five (25) Prakrit verses as examples :

1) Majjhanne jaņasunne......
मज् झण्णे/मज्झण्हे जणसुष्णे हरिणीए भविखदे (ए) सु कलमेसु । अविसेसण्ण कहं विअ गदो (गओ) सि वणवाडिअं दटुं॥ (मध्याहूने जनशून्ये हरिण्या भक्षितेषु कलमेषु ।
अविशेषज्ञ कथमिव गतोऽसि वनवाटिकां द्रष्टुम् ॥) 2) Kim tadena narinda......
(p. 40) कि तादेण रिदसेहरसिहालीढग्गपादे (ए) ण मे किं वा मे ससुरेण वासवमहासिंहासणद्धासिणा। ते देसा गिरिणो अ दे वणमही सा चेअ मे वल्लहा कोसल्लातणअस्स जत्थ चलणे वंदामि गंदामि अ॥ (किं तातेन नरेन्द्रशेखरशिखालीढाग्रपादेन मे कि वा मे श्वशुरेण वासवमहासिंहासनाध्यासिना । ते देशा गिरयश्च ते वनमही सा चैव मे वल्लभा कौसल्यातनयस्य यत्र चरणौ वन्दे च नन्दामि च ॥)

(p. 101) अहिणव-महु-लोलुवो तुमं तह परिचुंबिअ चूअमंजरि । कमलवसइमेत्तणिव्वुओ महुअर विम्हरिओ सि णं कहं ॥ (अभिनवमधुलोलुपस्त्वं तथा परिचुम्ब्य चूतमञ्जरीम् । कमलवसतिमात्रनिर्वृतो मधुकर विस्मृतोऽस्येनां कथम् ॥)
