This passage, as printed in our edition, is very corrupt. For restoration of this Apabhramsa passage vide supra Dr. H.C. Bhayani, : "Restoration of the text of some corrupt Apabhramsa and Prakrit citations in Dhanika's Avaloka on the Dasarūpaka and in Kuntaka's Vakrokti-Jivita".
वेवइ सेअ-दवद्दिअ-रोमंचिअ-गत्ति चवइ विसंतुल-वयणइँ बाहोल्लिअ-णेत्ति । मुहु तहे सामलिहूअउ खणे खणे विमुज्झइ मुद्ध सुहअ (?) तुह पेम्मेण सा विणडिज्जइ ॥ ( वेपते स्वेद-द्रवादित-रोमाञ्चित-गात्रा वदति विशृङखल-वचनानि बाप्पादित-नेत्रा। मुखं तस्याः श्यामलीभूतं क्षणे क्षणे विमुह्यति मुग्धा सुभग तव प्रेम्णा सा व्याकुलीक्रियते ॥)

अण्णहु णाहु महेलिअहु, बहुपरिमल-सुसुअंधु । महु कंतह अल्ल-व्वणह, अंगि ण फिट्टइ गंधु ॥ (अन्यासां नाथो महिलानां बहु-परिमल-सुसुगन्धिः। मम कान्तस्या-व्रणस्य, अङगे न भ्रश्यति गन्धः ॥) Ekkatto ruai pia...... एक्कत्तो रुअइ पिआ अण्णत्तो समर-तूर-णिग्योसो। पेम्मेण रणरसेण अ भडस्स डोलाइअं हिअअं॥ (एकतो रोदिति प्रियान्यतः समर-तूर्य-निर्घोषः। प्रेम्णा रणरसेन च भटस्य दोलायितं हृदयम् ॥)
