This gātha is extremely corrupt but the significant expression "naha-bhūsana' (addressec by the Khanditä näyika with a double meaning- one applicable to aditya, the sun, and the other to her faithless husband who bears the nail-marks on his body) leads us to identify the present gātha with the following one from Gathāsaptaśati :
पच्चसागअ रंजिअदेह पिआलोअ लोअणाणंद। अण्णत्थ खविअसव्वरि जहभसण दिणवइ णमो दे॥ (प्रत्यूषागत रक्त-देह प्रियालोक लोचनानन्द । अन्यत्र क्षपित-शर्वरीक नभोभूषण दिनपते नमस्ते ॥)

Note : This gatha is first cited in SP (Vol. I, p. 227) but there the first quarter is very corrupt and consequently obscure. The Sahitya mimamsă preserves the genuine reading,
