1282) ...ja...tam sapallahanthiam sukhaa pahiajaa...... (p. 1067) The text of the verse as printed here, shows many gaps and is also corrupt. It is extremely difficult to reconstruct it or identify it with any other verse. Once a thought came across my mind that the gātha (GS IV. 86) which ends with the identical words " Pahia-jaa" might be the illustration intended here. But since Bhoja is illustrating here adhirā' (nā yikā) he could not have cited GS IV. 86 which speaks of a traveller's wife whose passion is excited on account of sudden thundering sound or rumbling of clouds.

(p. 1067) परिअड्ढिआइ दोण्णि वि धरिणीए दइए पवसिए (पा. भ. पत्ते/एते)। णिअमो कुलाणुरूओ सिणेह-सरिसं च दोब्बल्लं ॥ (प्रकटिते द्वे अपि गृहिण्या दयिते प्रोषिते (पा. भे.) प्राप्ते आगच्छति । नियमः कुलानुरूपः स्नेह-सदृशं च दौर्बल्यम् ॥)

(p. 1067) जं पीअं मंगल-वासणाएँ पत्थाण-पढम-दिअहम्मि। बाह-सलिलं ण चिट्ठइ (पा. भे. गिट्ठइ)तं चिअ विरहे रुवंतीए ॥ (यत्पीतं मङ्गल-(पात्रात्) प्रस्थान-प्रथम-दिवसे । बाष्प-सलिलं न तिष्ठति (पा. भे. नितिष्ठति = समाप्यते) तदेव विरहे रुदत्याः॥)

This gātha is corrupt and incomplete. Its first half may tentatively be restored as follows:
ण वि तह घरम्मि दद्धे (दड्ढे) अण्णेसु वि सच्चएसु(? संचएसु) बहुएसु । कृद्दलिएसु जह सास ?... ... ॥ (नापि तथा गृहे दग्धेऽन्येष्वपि संचयेषु बहुषु ।)
Note : The second half of the gathā defies restoration.
