saints. Their Samayik is for lifetime. In other words Samayik is their way of life.
It is truly said that the virtuous man gain by doing one Samayik is worth far more than donating millions of gold-coins.
Samayik gives us mental peace, helps in mental, concentration, washes away the blemishes on our soul. It makes us the master of our thought, word and deed. Samayik leads us to the path of Emancipation towards the final and ultimate Bliss, i. e. 'Moxa'.
ભાવાર્થ : મૂળભૂત રીતે સામાયિકના બે પ્રકાર છે. (૧) બે ઘડીનું સામાયિક જે ગૃહસ્થ કરે છે તે તથા (૨) આજીવન સામાવિક જે આપણા સાધુ-સાધવીજીએ ગ્રહણ કરે છે તે. સમભાવને લાભ તે જ સામાયિક.
સાચું જ કહ્યું છે કે એક સદ્દગુણ આત્મા એક સામાયિક કરવાથી જે લાભ મેળવે છે તે કઈ દાનેશ્વરી લાખ સેનામહોરે આપે છતાં મેળવી શકતા નથી.
સામાયિક આપણને માનસિક શાંતિ આપે છે, માનસિક એકાગ્રતામાં મદદ કરે છે, આત્માના દેને વિશુદ્ધ કરે છે. મન-વચન અને કાયાની એકાગ્રતા સિદ્ધ થાય છે. સામાયિક કરવાથી આપણે આત્મા મોક્ષના માર્ગે આગળ વધે છે અને અંતે મોક્ષના શાશ્વત સુખને પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે.
2. chaturvinshatistava-ચતુર્વિશતિસ્તવ-ચઉવિસંથે.
chaturvinshatistava means offering our worship to the 24 Tirthankaras.
ચતુર્વિશતિસ્તવ એટલે ચોવીસ તીર્થંકરની સ્તુતિ.
