The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Chauvīsī bronze image of Shānuināth Tirthankara is preserved in Sambhavanäih Temple in Khetarpal's Pole, Manekchowk. It was made by Tha. Samanta and his family including his wife Räjalde, and wile Kāmalade, grandson Sanghavi Şetā and his wife Lahikū, his great-grandson Shivā and his wife Rangī, his brother Hīrā - wife Kunharī and brother Manā Kramadās etc. They belonged 10 Husbada. caste. This bimba was made with the precept of Srī Vimalendrakiriti, a pupil of Sri Sākalakīrttideva of Sarasvati gaccha in V.S. 1503, Māgha shu.di. 13. (i.e. Sunday, 29 Jan., 1447 A.D.). ॥ संवत् १५०३ वर्षे माघ शुदि १३ वर्षे श्री मूलसंघे सरस्वतीगच्छे बलाकारगणे भ. कुंदकुदाचार्यान्वये भ. श्री पद्मनंदिदेवा तत्पट्टे भट्टा. श्री सकलकीर्तिदेवा तस्य शिष्य श्री निर्गंधाचार्य श्री विमलेंद्रकीर्ति गुरुपदेशात् हूंबडज्ञातीय ठा. सामंत भा. राजलदे सुत ठा. व्यो. बुल भा. कामलदे सुत संघवी घेता भार्या लहिकू सुत सं. शिवा भा. रंगी भ्रातृ हीरा भार्या कूहरि भ्रातृ मना क्रमदास एते श्री शांतिनाथ.....

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Adināth with Parikar is preserved in Vāsu pū jyaswami Temple in Rupa Surchand's pole. It was made by Samarsingh, son of Sā. Khim, and Karmāde. who belonged to Usawāl caste. This icon was installed by Rainasimhasūri of Vriddha Tapā paksha in V.S. 1503, Māgha, sudi. 13, Ravi. (i.e. Sun., 29 Jan., 1447 A.D.). सं. १५०३ वर्षे माघ शु. १३ रवौ उसवाल ज्ञातीय सा. षीमा भा. करमादे सु.सा. समरसीहेन पु. ठाकुर सीमालदे भोजायुतेन श्री आदिनाथबिंब का. प्र. वृद्धतपापक्षे श्री रत्नसिंहसूरिभिः ।
