The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatirthi image of Shāntināth with parikar is preserved in Sambhavnath Temple in Kameshwar Pole. It was installed by Jinavardhanasuri of Kharatara Gaccha in V.S. 1477, Mārga. sudi. 6, Guruvar. (i.e. Thu., 9 Jan., 1421 A.D.). This Bimba was made by Samarsimha, son of Pahirāj of Kāņā Gotra for the spiritual bliss of his father.
सं १४७७ वर्षे माह सुदि ६ गुरौ काणां गोत्र व. समरसीहेन पु. पहिराजसुतेन पितृव्य पुण्यार्थं श्री शांतिनाथ ....... प्रतिष्टि[ष्ठि]त षरतरगच्छे श्री जिनवर्धनसूरिभिः।। । शुभं भवतु ||०॥

This Pañchatīrthi bronze image of Shāntināth with parikar is preserved in the sanctuary of Shāntināth in the Temple of Sambhavanāth at Lunsavada Moti Pole in the Delhi Chakla area. This icon was made by Thākur Samarasimha along with Udayasimha of Kāņā Gotra, for the bliss of his father Amarasimha. It was installed in V.S. 1477, Vaishākh sudi. 4, Shani(i.e. Sat., 5 April, 1421 A.D.) by the precept of Munisiṁhasūri. It was made by Sigārade (wife of Cotā) for the happiness of her father.
