The young boy was greatly fascinated by the very sight of Gautam Swami and requested him to visit his house and receive Bhiksha (food). Gautam Swami also was greatly pleased with the boy's devotion and politeness and agreed to visit his house.
Atimuktak's mother heard all this and felt supremely happy to see that first gandhar of Bhagwan Mahaveer Guru Gautam Swami had come to her house. She offered laddus to the Sadhu.
Gautam Swami left the place and Atimuktak also followed him as if drawn magnetically. Seeing that the asceti 'zoli' (bag) of Gautam Swami was heavy, Atimuktak said, "Maharaj! Kindly give me that zoli (bag). I will carry it. Gautam Swami said with a smile on his lips, "No, no you should not carry this bag. It can be carried only by ascetics(Sadhu).
"Well, in that case, I too will become a Sadhu", the young boy, Atimuktak said,
"But we cannot initiate any boy into Sadhu Dharma (Deeksha) without the consent of his parents", said Gautam Swami.
On hearing this, Atimuktak returned home and informed his parents that he had decided to become a Sadhu. His parents made all the efforts to dissuade him from his pan of becoming a Sadhu. They explained to him that receiving Deeksha is not a child's play and that it was a serious step. They also told him that the Sadhu Dharma requires inordinate patience and even great heroism because many severe austerities are to be performed, many vows have to be observed, and that many impediments have to be
