overcome by a Sadhu. But all this advice produced no effect on the boy. His determination was final and remained unshaken. He had made a heroic determination. At last, his parents gave their consent to his becoming a Sadhu.
Atimuktak was then initiated into the Sadhu Dharma by the Lord Mahavir himself. The boy Atimuktak now became Atimuktak Muni.
गौतम स्वामी ने अईमुत्ता को एक वृद्ध साधु को सौंपा। वृद्ध मुनि स्थंडिल के लिए वन में पधार रहे थे। उनके साथ अईमुत्ता गये। मार्ग में एक छोटा सा सरोवर था। वहाँ अईमुत्ताजी ने सहज बालभाव से पातरे की नाव बनाकर तैरायी। यह देखकर वृद्ध मुनि ने अईमुत्ता को समझाया, हम मुनिगण ऐसा अधर्म नहीं कर सकते। पानी के अंदर ऐसे खेल करेंगे तो छ:काय जीव की विराधना होगी और उसके फलस्वरूप हमारा जीव दुर्गति प्राप्त करेगा।
The young Atimuktak Muni now began to get education from a great Sthavir Muni. One day, the young Atimuktak Muni accompanied the old Muni into the forest. It was the rainy season. There Atimuktak happened to see some young boys playing. They were all making small boats out of leaves and floated them on the water in a puddle. This game gave them great delight.
