________________ (xxyi ) 9. In the manuscript, some words are written in two or three forms differing from each other. For example : (1) fafci, fa:ct and farfetch. (2) HAFF17 and f717. (3) gran and 377faa. Far and wait fafata and किञ्चित्. IT and T. TT and T. ag and a. (5) 397 and 3 a. 37847hta and 378429117. etc. We have revised these word in accordance with standard Samskrit. 10. In the manuscript, the following words are written with doubling of consonants following "ras. faagt for faapi. A for a goa for gar. grifa for gifa. We have however eliminated the doublings. We have also revised सत्व into सत्त्व, and the sandhis like व्याकरणञ्च, समयञ्च etc. have been written as व्याकरणं च, समयं च etc. . . 11. It is mentioned at the end of the manuscript that it was written by Panditavaidya Sri Amaracandra. There are however some corrections made by some other persons in the top or bottom margins or on additional leaf. It sometimes appears that the text on which the marginal corrections have been based is different from the text which had been used by the scribe. The manuscript 'used by Amaracandra appears similar with the text of Tibetan translation but the marginal correctons are perhaps based on the text of the Chinese translation, there being much similarity between the latter two. For Example : (1) $ 370 (p. 29) The basic manuscript reads TT foafurahaarata afgaan [fa]. This is same as the Tibetan translation,
