________________ ( xxv ) Tb. In the colophon at the end of the manuscript, it is said : FI:. From this it is clear that the Bhas ya was divided into five chapters, though such mention of chapters is not found in any other place of the manuscript. The title of the text and its division into chapter should be as follows: (1) Laksanasamuccaya. (2) Satyaviniscaya. (3) Dharmayiniscaya. (4) Praptiviniscaya. : (5) Samkathyaviniscaya. In the Chinese translation, the chapters are as follos : (1) Mulavastupariccheda. 3. (1) Dharmatraya. Sangraha. Samprayoga. (4) Samanvagama, :'(II) Viniscayapariccheda. (1) Satyaviniscaya. (2) Dharmaviniscaya. (3) Praptiviniscaya. (4) Sankathyaviniscaya. Each of these eight sections is again divided into many sub-sections numbered one, two, etc. in the Chinese translation. The Tibetan translation divides the text into ten chapters. 8. It is clear even from the photographs that the original manuscript was written on palm leaves in ink. There are two holes for threading each leaf.
