In Dharmakīrti's opinion 'avismvādana' means 'arthakriyāsthitih” Dharmottar, the commentator of Nyaya-bindu has explained ‘avisamvādakatva' in detail. He puts simily that as a person is called 'samvādaka' when he perceives an object already put to be known, in the same way cognition is also 'samvādaka' due to its capability to put to know the object by an observer. Capability means cognition is only an instrument in inspiring the person to perceive the object shown/known by cognition itself. Cognition does not create any object and cannot compell forcefully to an observer to perceive, yet it is a cause.
This is called the 'prāpakatā or prakāśarūpatā or jñāpkatā of jñāna. Explaination on arthkriyāsthiti. in pramāņavārtikabhāșya by Prajñākaragupta also confirms that non-inconsistency of jñāna is cognition which is not possible without accepting bāhyārtha-existence.
Manorathanandi, the vșittikāra of Pramāņavārttika says that state of action according to known/shown object is non-inconsistency, and this is the validity of cognition; because it is neither necessary that a person will work accordingly after knowing the object and nor while working for the object, due to any obstacle, he will have the same, hence jñāna is pramāņa, because it shows the known object, this is treated as the proof for non-inconsistency of pramāņa.
According to Manorathnandin, this ‘non-inconsistency' definition of pramāņa is accepted equally by both the Bauddhas, one who advocate external object's existence and another Vijñānavādins - who deny external object's existence - "etatccāvisaṁvādanam bāhyarthetaravādayoḥ samānam pramāṇalakṣaṇam vijñānanaye-pi sādhananirbhāsa jñānāntaramarthakrityanirbhāsajñānameva samvādah."
Durveka Misra has also supported Dharmottar's view."
