[व्यवहारसूत्र ___जाओ साहम्मिणोओ अहाकप्पं नो उवट्ठाए विहरंति सव्वासि तासि तप्पत्तियं छेए वा परिहारे वा। 13. रुग्ण प्रवर्तिनी किसी प्रमुख साध्वी से कहे कि- "हे आर्ये ! मेरे कालगत होने पर अमुक साध्वी को मेरे पद पर स्थापित करना।" यदि प्रवतिनी-निर्दिष्ट वह साध्वी उस पद पर स्थापन करने योग्य हो तो उसे स्थापित करना चाहिए। यदि वह उस पद पर स्थापन करने योग्य न हो तो उसे स्थापित नहीं करना चाहिए / यदि समुदाय में अन्य कोई साध्वी उस पद के योग्य हो तो स्थापित करना चाहिए / यदि समुदाय में अन्य कोई भी साध्वी उस पद के योग्य न हो तो प्रवर्तिनी-निर्दिष्ट साध्वी को ही उस पद स्थापित करना चाहिए। उसको उस पद पर स्थापित करने के बाद कोई गीतार्थ साध्वी कहे कि-"हे आयें ! तुम इस पद के अयोग्य हो अतः इस पद को छोड़ दो", (ऐसा कहने पर) यदि वह उस पद को छोड़ दे तो वह दीक्षाछेद या तप रूप प्रायश्चित्त की पात्र नहीं होती है। जो स्वर्मिणी साध्वियां कल्प (उत्तरदायित्व) के अनुसार उसे प्रवर्तिनी आदि पद छोड़ने के लिए न कहें तो वे सभी स्वर्मिणी साध्वियां उक्त कारण से दीक्षाछेद या तप रूप प्रायश्चित्त की पात्र होती हैं। 14. संयम-परित्याग कर जाने वाली प्रवतिनी किसी प्रमुख साध्वी से कहे कि-'हे प्रार्थे ! मेरे चले जाने पर अमुक साध्वी को मेरे पद पर स्थापित करना।" यदि वह साध्वी उस पद पर स्थापन करने योग्य हो तो उसे उस पद पर स्थापन करना चाहिए। यदि वह उस पद पर स्थापन करने योग्य न हो तो उसे स्थापित नहीं करना चाहिए। यदि समुदाय में अन्य कोई साध्वी उस पद के योग्य हो तो उसे स्थापित करना चाहिए। यदि समुदाय में अन्य कोई भी साध्वी उस पद के योग्य न हो तो प्रवर्तिनी-निर्दिष्ट साध्वी को ही उस पद पर स्थापित करना चाहिए। उसको उस पद पर स्थापित करने के बाद कोई गीतार्थ साध्वी कहे कि- 'हे प्रार्थे ! तुम इस पद के अयोग्य हो, अत: इस पद को छोड़ दो", (ऐसा कहने पर) यदि वह उस पद को छोड़ दे तो वह दीक्षाछेद या तप रूप प्रायश्चित्त की पात्र नहीं होती है। जो स्वधर्मिणी साध्वियां कल्प (उत्तरदायित्व) के अनुसार उसे प्रतिनी पद छोड़ने के लिए न कहें तो वे सभी स्वर्धामणी साध्वियां उक्त कारण से दीक्षाछेद या तप रूप प्रायश्चित्त की पात्र होती हैं। विवेचन-आचार्य अपने गच्छ के सम्पूर्ण साधु-साध्वियों के धर्मशासक होते हैं। अतः उनका विशिष्ट निर्णय तो सभी साध्वियों को स्वीकार करना होता ही है, अर्थात् उनके निर्देशानुसार
