दूसरा उद्देशक] [173 इन पांच जाति के वस्त्रों में से जब जहां जो सुलभ एवं कल्पनीय प्राप्त हो उसे ग्रहण किया जा सकता है / प्राथमिकता सूती एवं ऊनी इन दो को ही दी जानी चाहिए। निर्ग्रन्थ-निर्ग्रन्थी के लिए कल्पनीय रजोहरण 30. कप्पइ निग्गंथाण वा निग्गंथीण वा इमाइं पंच रयहरणाई धारित्तए वा परिहारित्तए वा, तं जहा–१. ओण्णिए, 2. उट्टिए, 3. साणए, 4. बच्चाचिप्पए, 5. मुजचिप्पए नामं पंचमे। त्ति बेमि। 30. निर्ग्रन्थों और निग्रंथियों को इन पांच प्रकार के रजोहरणों को रखना और उनका उपयोग करना कल्पता है / यथा 1. औणिक, 2. प्रौष्ट्रिक, 3. सानक, 4. वच्चाचिप्पक, 5. मुजचिप्पक / विवेचन--जिसके द्वारा धूलि आदि द्रव्य-रज और कर्म-मलरूप भाव-रज दूर की जाए उसे 'रजोहरण' कहते हैं। द्रव्यरजोहरण-गमनागमन करते हुए पैरों पर लगी रज या मकान में आई रज इससे प्रमार्जन करके दूर को जाती है, अतः यह 'द्रव्यरजोहरण' है। भावरजोहरण-भूमिगत, शरीर या वस्त्र-शय्यादि पर चढ़े हुए कीड़े-मकोड़े आदि को कष्ट पहुंचाए बिना रजोहरण से दूर किया जा सकता है, अत: जीवरक्षा का साधन होने से यह 'भावरजोहरण' है। यह रजोहरण पांच प्रकार का होता है१. औणिक-जो भेड़ आदि की ऊन से बनाया जाए वह 'पौणिक" है / 2. पौष्ट्रिक---जो ऊँट के केशों से बनाया जाय वह 'पौष्ट्रिक' है। 3. शानक- जो सन के वल्कल से बनाया जाय वह 'शानक' है। 4. वच्चाचिप्पक वच्चा का अर्थ डाभ या घास है, उसे कूटकर और कर्कश भाग दूरकर बनाये गये रजोहरण को 'बच्चाचिप्पक' कहते हैं / / 5. मुजचिप्पक-मुंज को कूटकर तथा उसके कठोर भाग को दूर करके बनाए गए रजोहरण ___को 'मुजचिप्पक' कहते हैं। स्थानांग अ. 5, उ. 3 में भी रजोरहण के ये पांच प्रकार कहे हैं। इन पांचों में पूर्व-पूर्व के कोमल होते हैं और उत्तर-उत्तर के कर्कश / अतः सबसे कोमल होने से औणिक रजोहरण ही प्रशस्त या उत्तम माना गया है। उसके अभाव में औष्ट्रिक और उसके प्रभाव में शानक रजोहरण का भाष्यकार ने स्पष्ट निर्देश किया है। यदि किसी देश-विशेष में उक्त तीनों ही प्रकार के रजोहरण उपलब्ध न हों तो वैसी दशा में ही वच्चाचिप्पक और उसके भी अभाव में मुजचिप्पक रजोहरण ग्रहण करने का विधान है।
