[58] [Prajñāpanā Sūtra ..[54-2] Tṛṇamūla, kandamūla and vaṁśīmūla, these and similar others should be understood as having a countable, uncountable or infinite number of jīvas / The cluster of water chestnut is full of many jīvas, this should be known and its leaves are each full of jīvas / Two jīvas are said to be in its fruit // 55 // [3] Jassa mūlassa bhaggaassa samo bhaṅgo padīsae / Aṇantajove u se mūle, je yāvaṇṇe tahāviha // 56 // Jassa kandassa bhaggaassa samo bhaṅgo padīsae.
