सत्तरहया लेश्यापद : द्वितीय उद्देशक ] [279 देवियों में कृष्णलेश्या का सद्भाव होता है। इनकी अपेक्षा भी तेजोलेश्या वाली देवियाँ संख्यातगुणी अधिक हैं, क्योंकि तेजोलेश्या सभी ज्योतिष्क देवियों में तथा सौधर्म-ऐशान देवियों में पाई जाती है। एक बात विशेषतः ध्यान देने योग्य है। वह यह कि देवियाँ सौधर्म और ऐशानकल्पों तक ही उत्पन्न होती हैं, आगे नहीं / अतएव उनमें इन कल्पों के योग्य प्रारम्भ की चार लेश्याएँ ही सम्भव हैं / इसी कारण तेजोलेश्या तक ही इनका अल्पबहुत्व बतलाया है / (3) सलेश्य देवों की अपेक्षा देवियों की संख्या अधिक-सैद्धान्तिक तथ्य यह है कि देवों की अपेक्षा देवियाँ बत्तीसगुनी और बत्तीस अधिक हैं। यही कारण है कि कापोत, नील, कृष्ण और तेजोलेश्या वाले देवों की अपेक्षा देवियाँ कहीं संख्यातगुणी अधिक हैं, कहीं विशेषाधिक हैं। तेजोलेश्यी ज्योतिष्क देव-देवियों का अल्पबहत्व-ज्योतिष्क देवों के सम्बन्ध में यहाँ एक ही अल्पबहुत्वसूत्र का प्रतिपादन किया गया है, क्योंकि ज्योतिष्कनिकाय में एकमात्र तेजोलेश्या ही होती है, कोई अन्य लेश्या नहीं होती / इसी कारण ज्योतिष्क देवों और देवियों का पृथक्-पृथक् अल्पबहुत्वसूत्र निर्दिष्ट नहीं किया है। सलेश्य सामान्य जीवों और चौवीस दण्डकों में ऋद्धिक अल्पबहुत्व का विचार-- 1161. एतेसि णं भंते ! जोवाणं कण्हलेस्साणं जाव सुक्कलेस्साण य कतरे कतरेहितो अप्पिड्डिया वा महिटिया वा ? / गोयमा ! कण्हलेस्सेहितो गोललेस्सा महिड्डिया, णीललेस्से हितो काउलेस्सा महिड्डिया, एवं काउलेस्सेहितो तेउलेस्सा महिड्डिया, तेउलेस्सेहितो पम्हलेस्सा महिड्डिया, पम्हलेस्से हितो सुक्कलेस्सा महिड्डिया, सव्वपिड्डिया जोवा किण्हलेस्सा, सव्वमहिड्डिया जीवा सुक्कलेस्सा। [1191 प्र.] भगवन् ! इन कृष्णलेश्या वाले, यावत् शुक्ललेश्या वाले जीवों में से कौन, किनसे अल्प ऋद्धिवाले अथवा महती ऋद्धि वाले होते हैं ?
