सत्तमं उस्सासपयं सप्तम उच्छ्वासपद 663. नेरइया णं भंते ! केवतिकालस्स प्राणमंति वा पाणमंति वा ऊससंति वा नीससंति वा? गोयमा ! सततं संतयामेव प्राणमंति वा पाणमंति वा ऊससंति वा नीससंति वा / . [693 प्र.] भगवन् ! नैरयिक कितने काल से अन्तःस्फुरित उच्छ्वास और निःश्वास लेते हैं तथा बाह्यस्फुरित उच्छ्वास (ऊँचा श्वास) और निःश्वास (नीचा श्वास) लेते हैं ? (अथवा उच्छ्वास अर्थात् श्वास लेते और निःश्वास अर्थात् श्वास छोड़ते हैं।) [693 उ.] गौतम ! वे सतत सदैव निरन्तर अन्तःस्फुरित उच्छ्वास-निःश्वास एवं बाह्यस्फुरित उच्छ बास-नि:श्वास लेते रहते हैं। 664. असुरकुमारा णं भंते ! केवतिकालस्स प्राणमंति वा पाणमंति वा ऊससंति वा नीससंतिवा? __ गोयमा ! जहण्णेण सत्तण्हं थोवाणं, उक्कोसेणं सातिरेगस्स पक्खस्स वा प्राणमंति वा जाव नीससंति वा। [694 प्र.] भगवन् ! असुरकुमार देव कितने काल से (अन्तःस्फुरित) उच्छ्वास और निःश्वास लेते हैं तथा बाह्यस्फुरित उच्छ्वास-निःश्वास क्रिया करते हैं ? [694 उ.] गौतम ! वे जघन्यतः सात स्तोक में और उत्कृष्टतः सातिरेक एक पक्ष में (अन्तःस्फुरित) उच्छ वास और निःश्वास लेते हैं तथा (बाह्य) उच्छ्वास एवं निःश्वास लेते हैं। 695. णागकुमारा णं भंते ! केवतिकालस्स प्राणमंति वा पाणमंति वा ऊससंति वा नोससंति वा? . गोयमा ! जहण्णेणं सत्तण्हं थोवाणं, उक्कोसेणं मुहत्तपुहुत्तस्स / [695 प्र.] भगवन् ! नागकुमार कितने काल से (अन्तःस्फुरित) उच्छ्वास और निःश्वास लेते हैं तथा (बाह्य) उच्छ्वास और निःश्वास लेते हैं ?
