470 ] / प्रज्ञापनासूत्र पृथ्वी) तक, उरग पांचवीं पृथ्वी तक, स्त्रियां छठी (नरकभूमि) तक और मत्स्य एवं मनुष्य (पुरुष) सातवीं (नरक) पृथ्वी तक उत्पन्न होते हैं। नरकपृथ्वियों में (पूर्वोक्त जीवों का) यह परम (उत्कृष्ट) उपपात समझना चाहिए / 183-184 / / 648. असुरकुमारा णं भंते ! कतोहितो उववज्जति ? गोयमा ! नो नेरइएहिंतो उववज्जति, तिरिक्खजोणिएहितो उववज्जंति, मणुएहितो उववज्जंति, नो देवेहिंतो उबवज्जंति / एवं जेहितो नेरइयाणं उववानो तेहितो असुरकुमाराण वि भाणितध्वो / नवरं असखेज्जवासाउय-प्रकम्मभूमग-अंतरदीवगमणुस्सतिरिक्खजोणिएहितो वि उववज्जति / सेसं तं चेव / [648 प्र.] भगवन् ! असुरकुमार कहाँ से (पाकर) उत्पन्न होते हैं ? [648 उ.] गौतम ! (वे) नैरयिकों से उत्पन्न नहीं होते, (किन्तु) तिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से उत्पन्न होते हैं, मनुष्यों से उत्पन्न होते हैं परन्तु देवों से उत्पन्न नहीं होते / इसी प्रकार जिन-जिन से नारकों का उपपात कहा गया है, उन-उन से असुरकुमारों का भी उपपात कहना चाहिए / विशेषता यह है कि (ये) असंख्यातवर्ष की आयु वाले, अकर्मभूमिज एवं अन्तीपज मनुष्यों और तिर्यञ्चयोनिकों से भी उत्पन्न होते हैं / शेष सब बातें वही (पूर्ववत्) समझनी चाहिए। 646. एवं जाव थणियकुमारा / [646] इसी प्रकार यावत् स्तनितकुमारों तक के उपपात के विषय में कहना चाहिए / 650. [1] पुढविकाइया णं भंते ! कमोहितो उववज्जति ? किं नेरइएहितो जाव देवेहितो उववज्जति ? गोयमा! नो नेरइएहितो उववज्जंति, तिरिक्खजोणिएहितो मणुयजोणिएहितो देवेहितो वि उववज्जति। [650-1 प्र.] भगवन् ! पृथ्वीकायिक जीव कहाँ से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? क्या वे नारकों से, तिर्यंचों से, मनुष्यों से अथवा देवों से उत्पन्न होते हैं ? [650-1 उ.] गौतम !
