[1] जहण्णगुणकालयाणं भंते ! पुढविकाइयाणं पुच्छा। गोयमा ! अणंता पज्जवा पण्णत्ता। से केणद्वेणं भंते ! एवं वुच्चति जहण्णगुणकालयाणं पुढविकाइयाणं अणंता पज्जवा पण्णता? गोयमा ! जहण्णगुणकालए पुढविकाइए जहण्णगुणकालगस्स पुढविकाइयस्स दवट्ठयाए तुल्ले, पदेसट्टयाए तुल्ले, प्रोगाहणट्टयाए चउट्ठाणवडिते, ठितीए तिट्ठाणवडिते, कालवण्णपज्जवेहि तुल्ले, अवसेसेहि वण्ण-गंध-रस-फासपज्जवेहि छट्ठाणवडिते, दोहि अण्णाणेहि प्रचक्खुदंसणपज्जवेहि य छट्ठाणवड़िते। [468-1 प्र.] भगवन् ! जघन्यगुण काले पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों (के पर्यायों के परिमाण) की पृच्छा है ! [468-1 उ.] गौतम ! उनके अनन्त पर्याय कहे गए हैं / [प्र.] भगवन् ! किस कारण से ऐसा कहा जाता है कि 'जघन्य गुण काले पृथ्विीकायिक जीवों के अनन्त पर्याय कहे हैं ?' [उ.] गौतम ! जघन्य गुण काला एक पृथ्वीकायिक, दूसरे जघन्य गुण काले पृथ्वीकायिक से द्रव्य की अपेक्षा से तुल्य है, प्रदेशों की अपेक्षा से तुल्य है; (किन्तु) अवगाहना की दृष्टि से चतुःस्थानपतित है, स्थिति की अपेक्षा से त्रिस्थानपतित है; काले वर्ण के पर्यायों की अपेक्षा से तुल्य है; तथा अवशिष्ट वर्ण, गन्ध, रस, और स्पर्श के पर्यायों की अपेक्षा से षट्स्थानपतित है; एवं दो अज्ञानों और अचक्षुदर्शन के पर्यायों से भी षट्स्थानपतित (हीनाधिक) है। [2] एवं उक्कोसगुणकालए धि / [468-2] इसी प्रकार उत्कृष्टगुण काले पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों के (पर्यायों के विषय में कथन करना चाहिए।) [3] प्रजहण्णमणुक्कोसगुणकालए वि एवं चेव / णवरं सट्ठाणे छट्ठाणडिते। [468-3] मध्यम (अजघन्य-अनुत्कृष्ट) गुण काले पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों के पर्यायों के विषय में भी इसी प्रकार कहना चाहिए / विशेष यह है कि वह स्वस्थान में षट्स्थानपतित है। " 466. एवं पंच वण्णा दो गंधा पंच रसा अढ फासा भाणितव्वा। [466] इसी प्रकार (पृथक्-पृथक् जघन्य-मध्यम-उत्कृष्टगुण वाले) पांच वर्णों, दो गन्धों,
