अधिक तृतीय बहुवक्तव्यतापद] [ 273 हैं। उनकी अपेक्षा अधोलोक-तिर्यग्लोकसंज्ञक पूर्वोक्त प्रतरद्वयका स्पर्श करने वाली मनुष्यस्त्रियाँ संख्यातगुणी होती हैं, क्योंकि तिर्यग्लोक से मनुष्यस्त्रीपर्याय से या अन्य पर्याय से अधोलौकिक ग्रामों में अथवा अधोलौकिक ग्राम से तिर्यग्लोक में मनुष्यस्त्री के रूप में उत्पन्न होने वाली होती हैं, उनमें से कई अधोलौकिक ग्रामों में अवस्थान करके भी उक्त दोनों प्रतरों का स्पर्श करती हैं / ऐसी स्त्रियाँ पूर्वोक्तप्रतरद्वय की स्त्रियों से बहुत अधिक होती हैं। इनकी अपेक्षा भी ऊर्ध्व लोक में (ऊर्ध्वलोक नामक प्रतरगत) मनुष्यस्त्रियाँ संख्यातगुणी अधिक हैं; क्योंकि सौमनस आदि वनों में क्रीड़ार्थ बहुत-सी विद्यारियों का गमन सम्भव है / अधोलोक में उनकी अपेक्षा भी वे संख्यातगणी क हैं, क्योंकि वहाँ स्वस्थान होने से प्रचरतर होती हैं। उनकी अपेक्षा भी तिर्यग्लोक में वे संख्यातगुणी हैं, क्योंकि वहाँ क्षेत्र भी संख्यातगुणा अधिक है, और स्वस्थान भी है। (4) देवगति के जीवों का अल्पबहत्व क्षेत्र की अपेक्षा से सबसे कम देव ऊर्वलोक में हैं, क्योंकि वहां वैमानिक जाति के देव ही रहते हैं, और वे थोड़े हैं, और जो भवनपति आदि देव तीर्थंकरों के जन्मोत्सवादि पर मन्दरपर्वतादि पर जाते हैं, वे भी स्वल्प ही होते हैं, इस कारण सबसे थोड़े देव ऊर्ध्वलोक में हैं / उनकी अपेक्षा ऊर्ध्वलोक-तिर्यग्लोकसंज्ञक दो प्रतरों में असंख्यातगुणे देव हैं; ये दोनों प्रतर ज्योतिष्कदेवों के निकटवर्ती हैं, अतएव उनके स्वस्थान हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त भवनपति, वाणव्यन्तर और ज्योतिष्कदेव सुमेरु आदि पर गमन करते हैं; अथवा सौधर्म आदि कल्पों के देव अपने स्थान में आते-जाते हैं, या सौधर्म आदि देवलोकों में देवरूप से उत्पन्न होने वाले देव, जो देवायु का वेदन कर रहे होते हैं, वे जब अपने उत्पत्तिदेश में जाते हैं, तब पूर्वोक्त दोनों प्रतरों का स्पर्श उन्हें होता है / ऐसे देव पूर्वोक्त देवों से असंख्यातगुणे अधिक होते हैं। उनकी अपेक्षा त्रैलोक्य में (लोकत्रयस्पर्शी) देव संख्यातगुणे हैं, क्योंकि भवनपति, वाणव्यन्तर, ज्योतिष्क और वैमानिकदेव तथारूप विशेष प्रयत्न से जब वैक्रियसमुद्घात करते हैं, तब तीनों लोकों का स्पर्श करते हैं। वे पूर्वोक्त प्रतरद्वयसंस्पर्शी देवों से संख्यातगणे अधिक होते हैं। उनकी अपेक्षा अधोलोक-तिर्यग्लोकसंज्ञक प्रतरद्वय का स्पर्श करने वाले देव संख्यातगुणे अधिक हैं, क्योंकि ये दोनों प्रतर भवनपति और वाणव्यन्तर देवों के निकटवर्ती होने से स्वस्थान हैं, तथा बहुत-से स्वभवनस्थित भवनपतिदेव तिर्यग्लोक में गमनागमन करते हैं, उद्वर्तन करते हैं; तथा वैक्रियसमुद्घात करते हैं; अथवा तिर्यग्लोकवर्ती पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्च या मनुष्य भवनपतिरूप में उत्पन्न होने वाले होते हैं, और भवनपति की आयु का वेदन करते हैं, तब उनके पूर्वोक्त दोनों प्रतरों का स्पर्श होता है। ऐसे जीव बहुत होने के कारण संख्यातगुणे कहे गए हैं / उनकी अपेक्षा अधोलोक में देव संख्यातगुणे हैं, क्योंकि अधोलोक भवनपतिदेवों का स्वस्थान है / उनकी अपेक्षा तिर्यग्लोक में रहने वाले देव संख्यातगुणे अधिक हैं, क्योंकि तिर्यग्लोक ज्योतिष्क और वाणव्यन्तयदेवों का स्वस्थान है / देवियों का अल्पबहुत्व-देवियों का अल्पबहुत्व भी सामान्यतया देवसूत्र की तरह समझ लेना चाहिए।' भवनपति प्रादि देव-देवियों का पृथक-पृथक् अल्पबहुत्व-(१) भवनपतिदेव सबसे कम ऊर्ध्वलोक में हैं; क्योंकि, कोई-कोई भवनपतिदेव अपने पूर्वभव के संगतिकदेव की निश्रा से सौधर्मादि देवलोकों में जाते हैं। कई-कई मेरुपर्वत पर तीर्थकरजन्ममहोत्सवादि के निमित्त से, तथा अंजन, दधिमुख आदि पर्वतों पर आष्टाह्निक महोत्सव के निमित्त से एवं कई मन्दरादि पर क्रीड़ा के निमित्त जाते हैं। परन्तु ये सब स्वल्प होते हैं, इसलिए ऊर्ध्वलोक में भवनपतिदेव सबसे कम है। 1. प्रज्ञापना. मलय. वृत्ति, पत्रांक 146 से 148 तक
