तृतीय बहुवक्तव्यतापद [ 271 कि नारक जीव तीनों लोकों को स्पर्श करने वाले कैसे हो सकते हैं, क्योंकि वे तो अधोलोक में ही स्थित हैं, तथा वे सबसे कम कैसे हैं ? इसका समाधान यह है कि मेरुपर्वत के शिखर पर अथवा अंजन या दधिमुखपर्वतादि के शिखर पर जो वापिकाएँ हैं, उनमें रहने वाले जो मत्स्य आदि नरक में उत्पन्न होने वाले हैं, वे मरणकाल में इलिकागति से अपने आत्मप्रदेशों को फैलाते हुए तीनों लोकों का स्पर्श करते हैं, और उस समय वे नारक हो कहलाते हैं, क्योंकि तत्काल ही उनकी उत्पत्ति नरक में होने वाली होती है, और वे नरकायु का वेदन करते हैं। ऐसे नारक थोड़े ही होते हैं, इसलिए उन्हें सबसे कम कहा है / त्रिलोकस्पर्शी नारकों की अपेक्षा पूर्वोक्त अधोलोकतिर्यग्लोक में असंख्यातगुणे नारक हैं; क्योंकि असंख्यात द्वीप-समुद्रों में रहने वाले बहुत-से पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यञ्च जब नरकों में उत्पन्न होते हैं, तब इन दो प्रतरों का स्पर्श करते हैं, इस कारण वे त्रैलोक्यस्पर्शी नारकों से असंख्यातगुणे हैं, क्योंकि उनका क्षेत्र असंख्यातगुणा है / मेरु प्रादि क्षेत्र की अपेक्षा असंख्यात द्वीप-समुद्ररूप क्षेत्र असंख्यातगुणा है / (2) तिर्यंचगतिक अल्पबहुत्व-सबसे कम तिर्यञ्च ऊर्वलोक-तिर्यग्लोक में हैं, क्योंकि ये तिर्यग्लोक के उपरिलोकवर्ती और ऊर्ध्वलोक के अधोलोकवर्ती दो प्रतरों में हैं, उनकी अपेक्षा अधोलोक-तिर्यग्लोक में-अधोलोक के ऊपरी और तिर्यग्लोक के निचले दो प्रतरों मेंविशेषाधिक हैं। इनकी अपेक्षा तिर्यग्लोक, त्रैलोक्य एवं ऊर्ध्वलोक में उत्तरोत्तर क्रमशः असंख्यातगुणे हैं / त्रैलोक्यसंस्पर्शी तिर्यंचों की अपेक्षा ऊर्ध्वलोक (ऊर्ध्वलोकसंज्ञक प्रतर में) असंख्यातगुणे तिर्यञ्च हैं। इनकी अपेक्षा अधोलोक में विशेषाधिक हैं। तिर्यचस्त्रियाँ-क्षेत्र की अपेक्षा से सबसे कम तिर्य चिनी ऊर्ध्वलोक का स्पर्श करने वाली हैं, क्योंकि मेरु आदि की वापी आदि में भी पंचेन्द्रिय स्त्रियाँ विद्यमान हैं। उनका क्षेत्र अल्प है। अतएव वे सबसे कम कही गई हैं, इनकी अपेक्षा ऊर्ध्वलोक-तिर्यक्लोक में (ऊर्ध्वलोक और तिर्यग्लोक के दो प्रतरों को स्पर्श करने वाली) तिर्यंचस्त्रियाँ असंख्यातगुणी हैं। इसका कारण यह है कि सहस्रार देवलोक तक के देव, गर्भजपंचेन्द्रिय-तिर्यञ्च स्त्रियों में उत्पन्न हो सकते हैं और शेष काया के जीव भी उनमें उत्पन्न हो सकते हैं / जब सहस्रार देवलोक तक के देव या शेष काया के जीव ऊर्ध्वलोक से तिर्यक्लोक में पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंचस्त्री के रूप में उत्पन्न होने वाले होते हैं, तब वे तिर्यंचस्त्री की आयु का वेदन करते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त तिर्यक्लोकवर्ती पंचेन्द्रिय-तिर्यंचस्त्रियाँ जब ऊर्ध्वलोक में देवरूप से या अन्य किसी रूप में उत्पन्न होने वाली होती हैं, तब वे मारणान्तिक समुदघात करके अपने उत्पत्तिदेश तक अपने आत्मप्रदेशों को फैलाती हैं। उसस वे पूर्वोक्त दोनों प्रतरों को स्पर्श करती हैं। उस समय वे तिर्यंचयोनिक स्त्रियाँ कहलाती हैं, अतएव असंख्यातगुणी कही गई हैं। इनकी अपेक्षा त्रैलोक्य में-त्रिलोक का स्पर्श करने वाली स्त्रियां तिर्यंचस्त्रियाँ संख्यातगुणी हैं / जब अधोलोक से भवनवासी, वाणव्यन्तर, नैरयिक तथा अन्यकायों के जीव ऊर्ध्व लोक में पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्चस्त्री के रूप में उत्पन्न होते हैं, अथवा ऊर्ध्वलोक से कोई देवादि अधोलोक में तिर्यंचस्त्री के रूप में उत्पन्न होते हैं और वे समुद्घात करके अपने प्रात्मप्रदेशों को दण्डरूप में फैलाते हुए तीनों लोकों का स्पर्श करते हैं / ऐसे जीव बहुत हैं, अतएव त्रैलोक्य में तिर्यचस्त्री को संख्यातगुणी कहना सुसंगत है / इनकी अपेक्षा अधोलोक-तिर्यक्लोक का स्पर्श करने वाली तिर्यग्योनिकस्त्रियाँ संख्यातगुणी अधिक हैं। बहुत-से नैरयिक आदि समुद्घात किये बिना ही तिर्यक्लोक में तिर्यञ्चपंचेन्द्रियस्त्री के रूप में उत्पन्न होते हैं ; तथा तिर्यग्लोकवर्ती जीव अधोलौकिक ग्रामों में तिर्यंचस्त्री के रूप में उत्पन्न होते हैं, उस समय वे पूर्वोक्त दो प्रतरों का स्पर्श करते हैं, और तियचस्त्री के आयूष्य का वंदन करते है, अतः उन्ह सख्यातगुणा कहा है। इनकी अपेक्षा भी अधोलोक में अर्थात् –अधोलोक के प्रतर में विद्यमान तिर्यञ्चस्त्रियाँ संख्यातगुणी हैं। अधोलौकिक
