186] [प्रज्ञापनासूत्र पश्चिम में लम्बे और उत्तर-दक्षिण में विस्तीर्ण हैं। वे परिपूर्ण चन्द्रमा के आकार में संस्थित हैं, सूर्य की तेजोराशि के वर्ण की-सी प्रभा वाले हैं, शेष वर्णन (सू. 201-1 में अंकित) ब्रह्मलोक-कल्प के समान यावत् 'प्रतिरूप हैं' तक (समझना चाहिए।) उनमें अधस्तन ग्रेवेयक देवों के एक-सौ ग्यारह विमान हैं, ऐसा कहा गया है। वे विमान पूर्णरूप से रत्नमय हैं, (इत्यादि सब वर्णन) यावत् 'प्रतिरूप हैं' तक (सू. 206-1 के अनुसार समझना चाहिए।) यहाँ पर्याप्तक और अपर्याप्तक अधस्तन-वेयक देवों के स्थान कहे गए हैं। (ये स्थान) तीनों (पूर्वोक्त) अपेक्षाओं से लोक के असंख्यातवें भाग में हैं। उनमें बहत-से अधस्तन-गवेयक देव निवास करते हैं, वे सब समान ऋद्धि वाले, सभी समान द्युति वाले, सभी समान यशस्वी, सभी समान बली, सब समान अनुभाव (प्रभाव) वाले, महासुखी, इन्द्र रहित, प्रेष्य (दास) रहित, पुरोहितहीन हैं। हे आयुष्मन् श्रमणो! वे देवगण 'अहमिन्द्र' नाम से कहे गए हैं। 206. कहि णं भंते ! मज्झिमगाणं गेवेज्जगदेवाणं पज्जत्ताऽपज्जत्ताणं ठाणा पण्णता? कहि णं भंते ! मज्झिमगेवेज्जगा देवा परिवसंति ? गोयमा ! हेट्ठिमगेवेज्जगाणं उपि सपक्खि सपडिदिसि जाव (सु. 206 [1]) उप्पइत्ता एत्थ गं मज्झिमगेवेज्जगदेवाणं तमो गेविज्जगविमाणपत्थडा पण्णता / पाईण-पडीणायता जहा हेटुिमगेवेज्जगाणं गवरं सत्तुत्तरे बिमाणावाससते हवंतीति मक्खातं / ते णं विमाणा जाव (सु. 206 [1]) पडिरूवा / एत्थ णं मज्झिमगेवेज्जगाणं देवाणं जाव (सु. 207) तिसु वि लोगस्स असंखेज्जतिभागे / तत्थ णं बहवे मज्झिमगेवेज्जगा देवा परिवसंति जाव (सु. 207) प्रहमिदा नाम ते देवगणा पण्णता समणाउसो ! / [208 प्र.] भगवन् ! पर्याप्तक और अपर्याप्तक मध्यम वेयक देवों के स्थान कहाँ कहे गए हैं ? भगवन् ! मध्यम ग्रेवेयक देव कहाँ रहते हैं ?
