116 [ प्रज्ञायनासूत्र में ग्रह के आकार का, नक्षत्रदेव के मुकुट के अग्रभाग में नक्षत्र के आकार का और तारकदेव के मुकुट के अग्रभाग में तारक के आकार का चिह्न होता है। इससे वे प्रकाश करते हैं। वैमानिक देवों का स्वरूप-वैमानिक देव दो प्रकार के होते हैं-(१) कल्पोपग या कल्पोपपन्न और (2) कल्पातीत / कल्पोपपन्न का अर्थ है-कल्प यानी आचार-अर्थात-इन्द्र, सामानिक, त्रायस्त्रिशादि का व्यवहार और मर्यादा। उक्त कल्प से युक्त व्यवहार जिनमें हो. वे देव कहलाते हैं और जिनमें ऐसा कल्प न हो, वे कल्पातीत कहलाते हैं / सौधर्म प्रादि देव कल्पोपपन्न और नौ ग्रेवेयक तथा पांच अनुत्तरौपपातिक देव कल्पातीत कहलाते हैं। लोकपुरुष की ग्रीवा पर स्थित होने से ये विमान ग्रं वेयक कहलाते हैं। अनुत्तर का अर्थ है-~सर्वोच्च एवं सर्वश्रेष्ठ विमान / उन अनुत्तर विमानों में उपपात यानी जन्म होने के कारण ये देव अनुत्तरोपपातिक कहलाते हैं। // प्रज्ञापना सूत्र: प्रथम प्रज्ञापनापद समाप्त।
