[प्रज्ञापनासून 2144-1 उ.] गौतम! सबसे थोड़े क्रोधसमुद्घात से समवहत असुरकुमार हैं, उनसे मानसमुद्घात से समवहत असुरकुमार संख्यातगुणा हैं, उनसे मायासमुद्घात से समवहत असुरकुमार संख्यातगुणा हैं और उनसे लोभसमुद्घात से समवहत असुरकुमार संख्यातगुणा हैं तथा इन सबसे असमवहत असुरकुमार संख्यातगुणा है। [2] एवं सचदेवा जाव वेमाणिया। [2144-2] इसी प्रकार यावत् वैमानिकों तक सर्वदेवों के क्रोधादिसमुद्घात के अल्पबहुत्व का कथन करना चाहिए। 2145. [1] पुढविक्काइयाणं पुच्छा। गोयमा ! सव्वत्थोवा पुढविक्काइया माणसमुग्धाएणं समोहया, कोहसमुग्घाएणं समोहया विसेसाहिया, मायासमुग्धाएणं समोहया विसेसाहिया, लोभसमुग्धाएणं समोहया विसेसाहिया, असमोहया संखेज्जगुणा। [2145-1 प्र] भगवन् ! क्रोधादिसमुद्घात से समवहत और असमवहत पृथ्वीकायिकों में कौन किनसे अल्प, बहुत, तुल्य अथवा विशेषाधिक हैं ? [2145-1 उ.] गौतम ! सबसे कम मानसमुद्घात से समवहत पृथ्वीकायिक हैं, उनसे क्रोधसमुद्घात से समबहत पृथ्वीकायिक विशेषाधिक हैं, उनसे मायासमुद्घात से समवहत पृथ्वीकायिक विशेषाधिक हैं और उनसे लोभसमुद्घात से समवहत पृथ्वी कायिक विशेषाधिक हैं तथा इन सबसे असमवहत पृथ्वीकायिक संख्यातगुणा हैं / [2] एवं जाव पंचेंदियतिरिक्खजोणिया। [2145-2] इसी प्रकार यावत् पंचेन्द्रियतिर्यञ्च तक के अल्पबहुत्व के विषय में समझना चाहिए। 2146. मणुस्सा जहा जीवा (सु. 2142) / णवरं माणसमग्धाएणं समोहया असंखेज्जगुणा। [2146] मनुष्यों की (अल्पबहुत्व-सम्बन्धी वक्तव्यता सू. 2142 में उक्त) समुच्चय जीवों के समान है / विशेष यह है कि मानसमुद्घात से समवहत मनुष्य असंख्यातगुणा हैं / विवेचन-निष्कर्ष-सर्वप्रथम कषायसमुद्घात के चार प्रकार तथा नैरयिक से लेकर वैमानिक पर्यन्त चौवीस दण्डकों में चारों प्रकार के कषायों के अस्तित्व की प्ररूपणा की गई है। तदनन्तर चौवीस दण्डकों में एकत्व और बहुत्व की अपेक्षा क्रोधादि चारों समुद्घातों के अतीत-अनागत की प्ररूपणा की गई है। नारक से लेकर वैमानिक तक प्रत्येक में अनन्त अतीत क्रोधादि समुद्घात है तथा प्रत्येक में भावी क्रोधादि समुद्घात किसी के होते हैं, किसी के नहीं होते। जो नारक आदि नारकादि भव के अन्तिम समय में वर्तमान है और जो स्वभाव से ही मन्दकषायी है, वह कषायसमुद्घात किये बिना ही मृत्यु को प्राप्त होकर नरक से निकल कर मनुष्यभव में उत्पन्न होने वाला है और कषायसमुद्घात किये बिना ही सिद्ध हो जाएगा, उसके भावी कषायसमुद्घात नहीं होता। उससे भिन्न
