[प्रज्ञापनासून [१७४५-प्र.] भगवन् ! उत्कृष्ट काल की स्थिति वाले ज्ञानावरणीयकर्म को क्या नारक बांधता है, तिर्यञ्च बांधता है, तिर्यञ्चिनी बांधती है, मनुष्य बांधता है, मनुष्य स्त्री बांधती है अथवा देव बांधता है या देवी बांधती है। [1745 उ.] गौतम ! उसे नारक भी बांधता है यावत् देवी भी बांधती है। 1746. केरिसए मं भंते ! मेरइए उक्कोसकालठितीयं णाणावरणिज्ज कम्मं बंधति ? गोयमा ! सण्णी चिदिए सव्वाहि पज्जत्तीहि पज्जत्ते सागारे जागरे सुतोवउत्ते मिच्छादिट्ठी कण्हलेसे उक्कोससंकिलिट्रपरिणामे ईसिमज्झिमपरिणामे वा, एरिसए णं गोयमा ! रइए उषकोसकालठितीयं णाणावरणिज्जं कम्मं बंधति / [1746 प्र.] भगवन् ! किस प्रकार का नारक उत्कृष्ट स्थिति वाला ज्ञानावरणीयकर्म बांधता है ? [1746 उ.] गौतम ! जो संज्ञीपंचेन्द्रिय, समस्त पर्याप्तियों से पर्याप्त, साकारोपयोग वाला, जाग्रत, श्रुत में उपयोगवान्, मिथ्यादृष्टि, कृष्णलेश्यावान्, उत्कृष्ट संक्लिष्ट परिणाम वाला अथवा किञ्चित् मध्यम परिणाम वाला हो, ऐसा नारक, हे गौतम ! उत्कृष्ट स्थिति वाले ज्ञानावरणीय कर्म को बांधता है। 1747. [1] केरिसए गं भंते ! तिरिक्खजोणिए उक्कोसकालठितीयं णाणावरणिज्जं कम्म बंधति ? गोयमा ! कम्मभूमए वा कम्मभूमगपलिभागी वा सण्णी पंचेंदिए सव्वाहि पज्जत्तीहिं पज्जत्तए, सेसं तं चेव जहा रइयस्स / [1747-1 प्र.] भगवन् ! किस प्रकार तिर्यञ्च उत्कृष्ट काल की स्थिति वाले ज्ञानावरणीयकर्म को बांधता है ? [1747-1 उ.] गौतम ! जो कर्मभूमि में उत्पन्न हो अथवा कर्मभूमिज के सदृश हो, संज्ञीपंचेन्द्रिय, सर्व पर्याप्तियों से पर्याप्त, साकारोपयोग वाला, जाग्रत, श्रुत में उपयोगवान् मिथ्यादृष्टि, कृष्णलेश्यावान् एवं उत्कृष्ट संक्लिष्ट परिणाम वाला हो तथा किञ्चित् मध्यम परिणाम वाला हो, हे गौतम ! इसी प्रकार का तिर्यञ्च उत्कृष्ट स्थिति वाले ज्ञानावरणीय कर्म को बांधता है / [2] एवं तिरिक्खजोणिणी वि, मणूसे वि मणूसी वि / देव-देवी जहा णेरइए (सु. 1746) / [1747-2] इसी प्रकार की (पूर्वोक्त विशेषणों से युक्त) तिर्यञ्चिनी भी मनुष्य और मनुष्यस्त्री भी उत्कृष्ट स्थिति बाले ज्ञानावरणीय कर्म को बांधती है / (पूर्वोक्त विशेषण युक्त) (सू. 1746 में उक्त) नारक के सदृश देव और देवी (उत्कृष्ट ज्ञानावरणीयकर्म बांधते हैं।) 1748. एवं प्राउअवज्जाणं सत्तण्हं कम्माणं / [1748] अायुष्य को छोड़कर शेष (उत्कृष्ट स्थिति वाले) सात कर्मों के बन्ध के विषय में पूर्ववत् जानना चाहिए।
