164] [जीवाजीवाभिगमसूत्र प्रवेयगस्स णं भंते ! केवइयं कालं अंतरं होइ ? साइयस्स अपज्जवसियस्स णत्थि अंतरं, साइयस्स सपज्जवसियस्स जहन्नेणं अंतोमुहुत्तं उक्कोसेणं अणंतकालं जाव अवड्ढे पोग्गलपरियट्ट देसूणं। अप्पाबहुगं-सव्वत्थोवा अवेयगा, सवेयगा अणंतगुणा / एवं सकसाई चेव अकसाई चेव जहा सवेयगे तहेव भाणियव्वे / अहवा दुविहा सव्यजीवा-सलेसा य अलेसा य जहा असिद्धा सिद्धा। सव्वत्थोवा अलेसा, सलेसा अणंतगुणा / 232. अथवा सब जीव दो प्रकार के हैं, यथा--सेन्द्रिय और अनिन्द्रिय / भगवन् ! सेन्द्रिय, सेन्द्रिय के रूप में काल से कितने समय तक रहता है ? गौतम ! सेन्द्रिय जीव दो प्रकार के हैं—अनादि-अपर्यवसित और अनादि-सपर्यवसित / अनिन्द्रिय में सादि-अपर्यवसित / दोनों में अन्तर नहीं है। सेन्द्रिय की वक्तव्यता असिद्ध की तरह और अनिन्द्रिय को वक्तव्यता सिद्ध की तरह कहनी चाहिए / अल्पबहुत्व में सबसे थोड़े अनिन्द्रिय हैं और सेन्द्रिय अनन्तगुण हैं। अथवा दो प्रकार के सर्व जीव हैं—सकायिक और अकायिक / इसी तरह सयोगी और अयोगी (सलेश्य और अलेश्य, सशरीर और अशरीर) / इनकी संचिट्ठणा, अन्तर और अल्पबहुत्व सेन्द्रिय की तरह जानना चाहिए। अथवा सब जीव दो प्रकार के हैं सवेदक और अवेदक / भगवन् ! सवेदक कितने समय तक सवेदक रहता है ? गौतम ! सवेदक तीन प्रकार के हैं, यथा-अनादि-अपर्यवसित, अनादि-सपर्यवसित और सादि-सपर्यवसित / इनमें जो सादि-सपर्यवसित है, वह जघन्य से अन्तर्मुहूर्त और उत्कृष्ट से अनन्तकाल तक रहता है यावत् वह अनन्तकाल क्षेत्र से देशोन अपार्द्ध पुद्गलपरावर्त है। भगवन् ! अवेदक, अवेदक रूप में कितने काल तक रहता है ? गौतम ! अवेदक दो प्रकार के कहे गये हैं----सादि-अपर्यवसित और सादि-सपर्यवसित / इनमें जो सादि-सपर्यवसित है, वह जघन्य से एकसमय और उत्कृष्ट अन्तर्मुहूर्त तक रहता है। भगवन् ! सवेदक का अन्तर कितने काल का है ? गौतम! अनादि-अपर्यवसित का अन्तर नहीं होता / अनादि-सपर्यवसित का भी अन्तर नहीं होता। सादि-सपर्यवसित का अन्तर जघन्य एक समय और उत्कृष्ट अन्तमुहूर्त है। भगवन् ! अवेदक का अन्तर कितना है ? गौतम ! सादि-अपर्यवसित का अन्तर नहीं होता, सादि-सपर्यवसित का अन्तर जघन्य अन्तर्मुहूर्त और उत्कृष्ट अनन्तकाल है यावत् देशोन अपार्धपुद्गलपरावर्त / अल्पबहुत्व-सबसे थोड़े अवेदक हैं, उनसे सवेदक अनन्तगुण हैं। इसी प्रकार सकषायिक का भी कथन वैसा करना चाहिए जैसा सवेदक का किया है / __अथवा दो प्रकार के सब जीव हैं-सलेश्य और अलेश्य / जैसा प्रसिद्धों और सिद्धों का कथन किया, वैसा इनका भी कथन करना चाहिए यावत् सबसे थोड़े अलेश्य हैं, उनसे सलेश्य अनन्तगुण हैं।
