[23 प्रथम प्रतिपत्ति : संसारसमापन्नक जीवाभिगम] हैं / जिन्हें सिद्ध हुए तीन समय हुए बे द्वितीयसमयसिद्ध परम्परसिद्ध जानने चाहिए। इसी तरह आगे भी जान लेना चाहिए। यह परम्परसिद्ध असंसारसमापन्नक जीवाभिगम का कथन हुआ। संसारसमापन्नक जीवाभिगम 8. से कि तं संसारसमापन्नकजीवाभिगमे ? संसारसमावण्णएसु णं जीवेसु इमाओ णव पडिवत्तीओ एवमाहिज्जंति, तंजहा--- 1. एगे एवमांहसु-दुविहा संसारसमावण्णगा जीवा पण्णत्ता। 2. एगे एवमाहंसु---तिविहा संसारसमावण्णगा जीवा पण्णत्ता। 3. एगे एवमाहंसु-चउस्विहा संसारसमावण्णगा जीवा पण्णत्ता। 4. एगे एवमाहंसु-पंचविहा संसारसमावण्णगा जीवा पण्णत्ता। 5-10. एतेण अभिलावेणं जाव दसविहा संसारसमावण्णगा जोवा पण्णत्ता। [8] संसारप्राप्त जीवाभिगम क्या है ? संसारप्राप्त जीवों के सम्बन्ध में ये नौ प्रतिपत्तियाँ (कथन) इस प्रकार कही गई हैं१. कोई ऐसा कहते हैं कि संसारप्राप्त जीव दो प्रकार के कहे गये हैं। 2. कोई ऐसा कहते हैं कि संसारवर्ती जीव तीन प्रकार के कहे गये हैं। 3. कोई ऐसा कहते हैं कि संसारप्राप्त जीव चार प्रकार के कहे गये हैं। 4. कोई ऐसा कहते हैं कि संसारप्राप्त जीव पाँच प्रकार के कहे गये हैं। 5-10. ऐसा ही कथन तब तक कहना चाहिए यावत् कोई ऐसा कहते हैं कि संसारप्राप्त जीव दस प्रकार के कहे गये हैं। विवेचन प्रस्तुत सूत्र में संसारवर्ती जीवों के विषय में प्रश्नोत्तर किये गये हैं। प्रश्न किया गया है कि संसारवर्ती जीव का स्वरूप क्या है ? संसारवर्ती जीव के भेदों को बताकर उक्त प्रश्न का उत्तर दिया गया है। भेदों के कथन से वस्तु का स्वरूप ज्ञात हो ही जाता है। संसारवर्ती जीवों के प्रकार के सम्बन्ध में यहाँ नौ प्रतिपत्तियाँ बताई गई हैं। प्रत्तिपत्ति का अर्थ है-प्रतिपादन, कथन / ' इस सम्बन्ध में नौ प्रकार के प्रतिपादन हैं। जैसे कि कोई प्राचार्य संसारवर्ती जीवों के दे हैं, कोई प्राचार्य उनके तीन प्रकार कहते हैं। इसी क्रम से कोई आचार्य संसारवर्ती जीवों के दस प्रकार कहते हैं। दो से लगाकर दस प्रकार के संसारी जीव हैं—यह नौ प्रकार के कथन या प्रतिपादन हुए। यहां यह ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि ये नौ ही प्रकार के कथन परस्पर भिन्न होते हुए भी विरोधी नहीं हैं / जो आचार्य संसारवती जीवों को दो प्रकार का कहते हैं, वे ही आचार्य अन्य विवक्षा से संसारवर्ती जीव के तीन प्रकार भी कहते हैं, अन्य विवक्षा से चार प्रकार भी कहते हैं यावत् अन्य विवक्षा से 1. प्रतिपत्तयः प्रतिपादनानि संवित्तयः इति यावत् / -मलय. वृत्ति 2. प्रतिपत्तय इति परमार्थतोऽनयोगद्वाराणि, इति प्रतिपत्तव्यम् /
