बाहल्य आदि प्रतिपादन] [105 सोहम्मीसाणेसु देवा एगसमए णं केवइया उववज्जति ? गोयमा ! जहन्नेणं एक्को वा दो वा तिण्णि वा, उक्कोसेणं संखेज्जा वा असंखेज्जा वा उववज्जंति, एवं जाव सहस्सारे। प्राणयादिगेवेज्जा अणुत्तरा य एक्को वा दो वा तिन्नि वा उक्कोसेणं संखेज्जा वा उववज्जति / सोहम्मीसाणेसु णं भंते ! कप्पेसु देवा समए समए अवहीरमाणा प्रवहीरमाणा केवइएणं कालेणं अवहिया सिया? गोयमा! ते णं असंखेज्जा समए समए अवहीरमाणा प्रवहीरमाणा असंखिज्जाहि उस्सप्पिणी-प्रोसप्पिणीहिं प्रवहीरंति नो चेव णं अवहिया सिया जाव सहस्सारे। प्राणतादिसु चउसु वि / गेवेज्जेसु अणुत्तरेसु य समए समए जाव केवइयं कालेणं अवहिया सिया ? गोयमा! ते णं असंखेज्जा समए समए अवहीरमाणा पलिओवमस्स असंखेज्जइ भागमेत्तेणं अवहोरंति नो चेव णं अवहिया सिया। 201. (इ) भगवन् ! सौधर्म-ईशानकल्प में विमान कितने बड़े हैं ? गौतम ! कोइ देव जो चुटकी बजाते ही इस एक लाख योजन के लम्बे-चौड़े और तीन लाख योजन से अधिक की परिधि वाले जम्बूद्वीप की 21 बार प्रदक्षिणा कर आवे, ऐसी शीघ्रतादि विशेषणों वाली गति से निरन्तर छह मास चलता रहे, तब वह कितनेक विमानों के पास पहुंच सकता है, उन्हें लांघ सकता है और कितनेक उन विमानों को नहीं लांध सकता है, इतने बड़े वे विमान कहे गये हैं / इसी प्रकार का कथन क के लिए समझना चाहिए कि कितनेक विमानों को लांध स कितनेक विमानों को नहीं लांघ सकता है। भगवन् ! सौधर्म-ईशानकल्प के विमान किसके बने हुए हैं ? गौतम ! वे सर्वरत्नमय हैं / उनमें बहुत से जीव और पुद्गल पैदा होते हैं, च्यवित होते हैं, इक्ट्ठे होते हैं और वृद्धि को प्राप्त करते हैं। वे विमान द्रव्याथिकनय की अपेक्षा से शाश्वत हैं और स्पर्श आदि पर्यायों की अपेक्षा अशाश्वत हैं / ऐसा ही कथन अनुत्तरोपपातिक विमानों तक समझना चाहिए। भगवन ! सौधर्म-ईशानकल्प में देव कहां से आकर उत्पन्न होते हैं ? गौतम ! सम्मूछिम जीवों को छोड़कर शेष पंचेन्द्रिय तिर्यंचों और मनुष्यों में से प्राकर जीव सौधर्म और ईशान में देवरूप से उत्पन्न होते हैं / इस प्रकार प्रज्ञापना के छठे व्युत्क्रान्तिपद में जैसा उत्पाद कहा है वैसा यहां कह लेना चाहिए / (सहस्रार देवलोक तक उक्त रीति से तथा आगे केवल मनुष्यों से पाकर उत्पन्न होते हैं / ) अनुत्तरोपपातिक विमानों तक व्युत्क्रान्तिपद के अनुसार कहना चाहिए। भगवन् ! सौधर्म-ईशानकल्प में एक समय में कितने देव उत्पन्न होते हैं ? गौतम! जघन्य एक, दो, तीन और उत्कृष्ट संख्यात और असंख्यात जीव उत्पन्न होते हैं। यह कथन सहस्रार देवलोक तक कहना चाहिए / प्रानत आदि चार कल्पों में, नवग्रैवेयकों में और अनुत्तरविमानों में जघन्य एक, दो, तीन यावत् उत्कृष्ट संख्यात जीव उत्पन्न होते हैं। भगवन् ! सौधर्म-ईशानकल्प के देवों में से यदि प्रत्येक समय में एक-एक का अपहार किया जाये-निकाला जाये तो कितने काल में वे खाली हो सकेंगे? गौतम ! वे देव असंख्यात हैं अतः यदि एक समय में एक देव का अपहार किया जाये तो असंख्यात उत्सपिणियों अवपिणियों तक अपहार का यह क्रम चलता रहे तो भी वे कल्प खाली नहीं हो सकते। उक्त कथन सहस्रार देवलोक तक करना चाहिए। आगे के पानतादि चार कल्पों में, अवेयकों में तथा अनुत्तर विमानों के देवों के अपहार
